MAY DAY! I hope we dont have to forfeit games in the future, so let's be pro-active, somebody go and double check realus george birth certificate just to be on the safe side!

CMR and staff are making a difference. It finally looks like the administration and donors are following their lead. Love that they welcome negative recruiting and squelch it with facts and examples.

Wow. This puts many of my lingering concerns to rest. He’s building this thing solidly and to last awhile. We now have everything but the bags, and that just isn’t going to happen on CMR’s watch. On Urban Meyer day, I don’t even care about not having bags for the first time in a long while.

Upgrade to the dorms is a HUGE move for the University, and still much work to be done. I lived mostly in Mahoney (including down the hall from the 7th Floor Crew) and it was not very nice. Spent a summer in the towers and they were very dated. The apartments (since bulldozed) were even worse and pre-dated WW2. Eaton was probably the nicest on campus and still meh.

Hopefully the next upgrade is to the towers, which would be a huge endeavor. I'd like to see those expanded to 14 floors with suites at the top, and for the love of god open up the windows. Basically we need to turn the towers from dorms to more proper apartments, which have views people would pay good money for. It would also be nice to see proper balconies and a roof terrace, but safety concerns would probably prohibit that. Somebody fell from the 12th floor stairwell to their (her, I think) death around 2003.

Richt is a class act. It helps that everything he says is the truth.

Great stuff. We are going to get to the top of CFB again fellas. Richt gets it and is pushing us. Now let's win some games!!!

I heard the towers are getting removed for something new.

This was actually one of my thoughts catching up on the Meyer thing last night. Could it be that we are FINALLY entering an era where actually having a decent human being as coach, who does things right, cares about the kids, and doesn't blatantly flaunt the rules could FINALLY be rewarded?? And then I woke up, nahhhhh, they'll never do anything to Saban. Then again, who would have thought that the frickin pope, Joe Paterno, could ever be disgraced?

I know we got two of ours with (less than pristine) Dennis Erickson at the helm, and I know Spermy Fart is over there buying up every recruit money can buy (which has to be ****ing Satan off to no end), but it just kinda feels, at least right now, like we just have the absolute two best coaches in men's BBall and in football that we could possibly have for where we are and what time it is in the "societal climate" right now.

When we win a football championship under CMR, it is going to be such a release of sheer joy and pride, and to know we did it clean and no one can take it from us. It's a good time to be a Cane fan.....

Removed entirely strikes me as very unlikely. We could only do one at a time and meet housing needs, which means it would take YEARS of construction. I don't see a real issue with the structure beyond the fact the windows need to be expanded.

That being said, it would be amazing to have entirely new buildings there. They look and feel old.
