Very informative reading about which programs around college are invested in long-term success by building from trenches outward. Not surprisingly since the Private schools haven't reported their coaching salary info Miami is not on this list, but trust that our guys well compensated.

I figured the UGA DL coach would be 1 if not 2. The technique those players play with is unmatched. They do it consistently too which is next level. Folks talk about how boring that UGA and Texas game was but in the trenches it was a thing of beauty from both d-lines. The top five i could have guessed on the top of my head.

they get the best players up front, and have the best scouts on DL especially DT. They found J Carter who was a 3 star and was a dominant force off rip.

I couldn't agree more. UGA DL is a thing of beauty of watch. Watching their DL stand there ground in a 335 tite is glorious. BAMA used to be the same but they fell off. I'd put Texas and Michigan up there as teams I love watching for their OL/DL play.

With Lewis and JT teaching technique, plus Mario's recruiting, I feel like it's only a matter of time until we see our boys start to look the same.

I know everyone loves watching teams throw the ball all over the place but the trenches are how you build long term success.

Jalen Carter was a highly rated recruited from jump. He was top 100 and never went below 150ish. Ended up a 5 star.
If I am mistaken or wrong than I am wrong but I read on this very site that he was low rated and found by UGA and Kirby.
