With the great well established " Bag Programs" Bama, LSU, TAMU, UGA, OSU etc etc. These bag programs long precede ANY new coach. And continue well beyond any existing coach.

It operates not at the coach's behest but at the booster's discretion as to who would be a good addition to help their Alma Mater football program.

It's a fiction that coaches run most bag programs. They are almost universally run by boosters without any need for coaches to be involved...beyond saying ""We really like "so and so" he would be a great addition"
