Outside of the Head Coach, the most impactful position in college football is S&C coach and more colleges are realizing it and paying for it.



These highly paid strength and conditioning coaches carry plenty of weight in college football

For those who have purposely downplayed the importance of S&C in order to defend Swasey for whatever personal or social reason.

"No question, he is second in line [to Saban]. If Saban is the father, Cochran is the stepdad" -- former player regarding the importance of S&C.
