Put it on the red zone, and watch the Rams.

Constant motion , flexing , shifting and formation changes. It’s pretty much all game.

This causes confusion , breakdowns , makes throws / reads easier for the QBs and helps the ol.

All this smoke and mirrors manipulates the defense and the DL. Makes all twenty two eyes take a split second to to watch the eye candy/ bait. It also slows down the pass rush and helps the run. Motion and fakes slows down the de’s from crashing down.

Not to mention it shows if the defense is in man or zone, that alone helps a crappy qb like Malik out. Something that simple.

Oh and guess where the Rams, and all the other nfl teams got these principles/ spread concepts? You guessed it , college freaking football.

If Bill belichik can bring in Urban and Chip to learn their principles why can’t Mork study these other schemes?

Just look at Clemson, their offense is very basic , from route combinations and concepts. It’s just constant manipulation, with sweep actions , motion and movement. “Smoke and mirrors”

Just this little adjustment makes guys like Thomas and Pope lethal in space. While still keeping the playbook simple.

I’ve been begging for this since Mork got here, maybe one day it’ll happen.

I was thinking the same thing watching them and I'm just shaking my head, man,

Because Mork has his play book from 30 years ago, and, when he draws it up on the dry erase board everything works perfectly lol.

In all seriousness, this offense is a total disaster. Really sucks.

I was going to ask, Other than bringing in Helfirch when has Mork gone to other coaching staff's in the NFL or College to expand his 30 year old playbook or philosophy?

From my observation last night,it appeared the defense players were sitting on the routes. Virginia had 10 days to prepare ,so it's sad that if a team has extra time they can disrupt your offense for 4 quarters.

When I can sit in my living room and guess almost every play there's a problem. You know a paid DC knows what's coming

The slow developing handoff kills me , and it seems like it’s thd only play we run. Nothing quick , no counter action or nothing quick to the outside. All slow developing.

One of the few times we had good runs against FSU was the i formation off tackle play to the left. Which sealed the game.

They were selling out between the a gaps and nothing outside. No tosses , powers just the one off tackle play. That’s play calling , even though I’m talking more overall scheme in this thread.

The scouting report is out , we run nothing but majority deep routes. From deep in routes, posts, corners and deep comebacks. So dc’s are giving a 7-10 yard cushion and just sitting on those deep routes. If you notice when we run quick game it’s normally successful. From hitches , slants , curls or outs. We just rarely run them. It’s msjority deep game.

Back in the day you take what they give you , you’re giving a huge cushion I’ll just hitch you or quick game you to death. Set up double moves , make the cb’s bring their asses up. Take what they give ya , it seems like there’s no method behind the madness.

Yeah I concur, he's trying to run a power run scheme when obviously our oline can't do it. It's a lot like when ND tried to walk into our home and run that slow developing run we stuffed it. It doesn't work against teams who know to stop it and you don't have the oline for it. But yeah the run run pass isn't working the very few plays we have done motion or misdirection in the red zone it has worked. Idk why he doesn't run more in the open field. To have players like JT4, Pope, brevin, homer/Dallas and we can't find one way to get them the ball in the open field is an issue. If JT4 was in a scheme like Oklahoma he would be in the Heisman watch the kid is special

I was more disturbed with our tempo at the end of the game. It probably shows that your OC/HC is overwhelmed.

Yep. FSU was sitting on our routes too. Sitting in the stands there were so many plays where everyone was blanketed and it seemed like the d knew what was coming.

Teams have solved Richts offense the way Miami solved Nebraska's option. Nebraska could have said same thing Richt just said: "We've been running these plays for 30 years." Its OVAH. Take that playbook to the crematorium and burn it to ashes. I'll pitch in for a nice urn. When Richt dies he can have his ashes mixed with his beloved RPO and the ashes can be returned to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean.

Andy Reid said that was awful no huddle and time management.

Seriously doe, our up tempo is pathetic.

By not being manipulative with our offensive scheme it allows other defenders to key in on routes and or just sell out on the run. Richt is completely doing the offense a disservice by not taking advantage of this useful play design

Bingo.

Dc’s love preparing for us , that’s real talk.

just ran a sweep with woods and froze von ******* miller dead in his tracks because they've been setting that up. something so simple.

Rams have woods go motion to the right at snap , then shovel / toss to the left to gurley. Huge play , so simple.

Get the defenses eyes watching the jet weep action , the go the opposite direction. This isn’t brain surgery.

It’s so **** frustrating man. Sick of this sh*t, admitting and having self awareness of the hardcore evidence that our offense is ****** due to richt should be his first priority. Look in the mirror

It’s making them account for an area on the field that can’t go unchecked, it gets them to think and react also to unclog the area up by creating less defenders because they have to account for that. It’s simple sh*t man. Diaz adjusted when we complained about knowles and others yet richt sitting on his hands like he got a golden playbook

Goff takes snap and throws quick throw directly horizontal of los, guards pull. First down.

You give a cushion that’s stealing , it’s a simple toss while getting your playmakers in space. Just a simple throw down the los.
