I think the franchise is right with his post earlier this week. If we're going to continue this horse s*** path , should we consider just accepting the program folded. Have memories instead of average half *** football..

College football is not nearly as fun with Miami not even being competitive anymore like they have been for 10 years now.

So the point of why I am talking about the banner. Golden is out period. His soft garbage football will be gone.

I just think it's time for us fans to think about how we can press the university to make a decent hire. Or maybe try and pull some influence and get Blake out also. Not just flying $1,000 banners crying about the problem, but really doing something about it.

Tactfulletters? Big money raised by fans? Getting former players more vocal about not letting the program die ( more or less)

We need a full on "Bring Back Butch" blitz from ALL. ANGLES; emailing/calling Blake James and anyone in the Athletic department multiple times per day,threaten to withhold season ticket purchases. Bring back butch banners on planes, tv commercials, billboards around SFLA, former players publicly calling for Butch, twitter/facebook/social media storm. We need the students wearing "Bring Back Butch Davis" t-shirts.Flyers all around the campus in every building, every classroom, every dorm hall. More signs at other football game pre-shows. If it takes storming into BOT meetings and shouting for Butch Davis then do that too. Leave no stone unturned. Keep that pressure going all day, everyday until he is rehired.

My first choice would be Butch coming back, because of his experience and he would know what to do with our program. Anyone who thinks he's gotten old and out of touch doesn't listen to him talk about college football in general. He would be able to still hire a great staff. And yes, he did really well for what UNC is.. they used to beat us handily with him at the helm.

But other options? For 3 mill a year.. that is the tops our administration will probably go.

The banners need to start embarrassing the school and the ACC. The only that matters to this school are those ACC checks. Winning is near the bottom of the list. The banner should read "stealing ACC checks since 2004".
