But....but...but....Bobby Bowden was a decent Christian man (I know, I know, this happened at NCSU under Amato, but he was one of Bobby's guys)....but......but....no matter your feelings on fsu, never forget they always found room for us on their schedule....and to think to this day many so-called Cane fans respect - even adore - this program in north Florida....Eff fsu, their school and coaches.

I never liked Chuck. It was wrong of me to let biases set my opinion, but his barrel chest also bothered me so. I was young and dumb, of course I didn't know this.
In 1970 William & Mary HC Lou Holtz confronted West Virgina's HC Bobby Bowden after his 43-7 loss about running up the score, Bowden told him, you should have recruited more William's and less Mary's. That's a classic.
 
Do they still have grade mandates? Haven’t heard any issues in a while.

Said it in previous post a few weeks back. Amato and dirty Doc Holliday were the slimiest guys in the game circa 2000. They were dropping bags on anyone in south Florida who would listen and then tried to ***** you if you didn’t take their bribe.
