He's In !!!

So when did we all of a sudden get so deep at WR? Richards has turf toe.. Do you actually think none of our WR's will miss anytime this year due to injuries?

These dudes think because Harris is doing well that we don't need any WRs now. Harris, Berrios, Coley and we good. Don't need no one else.

probably will still have to redshirt. training camp is almost over.

Valid dude is 20 years old...He aint redshirtin'

who is he going to pass on the depth chart? everyone in front of him has had a full training camp...he is too far behind.

He could pass lewis and perhaps langham although it depends at what spot they put him in.
You could pass Langham. Richt wants nothing to do with that dude.

This.

We have EIGHT total receivers available on the roster now that Mullins is in (and not counting Cager):

Coley
Berrios
Lewis
Harris
Langham
Bruce
Richards
Mullins

We're going to need every single one of these kids at some point during the season. I'm sure the coaches will bring Mullins along slowly, but I think he'll play because we'll need him to.

You'd be surprised. Historically (even with our early 00s teams), we - AT MOST - would only play 5 guys for the entire year. Now, obviously that changes if you have injuries. But, if there are no injuries, I don't know if you need more than 5-6 to play in a given year. If you have tons of talent on the bench and the difference between your #3 and #6 is not that great, then you could have more.

Never should've been here. I said at the time of his recruitment that I would've taken the Turner kid over him and I got absolutely blasted.

I have no idea what Turner did at whatever school he went to, but I'm sure it was more than what Langham has done here.

Guaranteed that dude franchise has had *** w a man before. No doubt!

Does your mouth count?

Disgusting 50 year old fart ! How many d**** did you look at before you decided "That's the one I want........... To post!"??

You probably jerk off knowing you can come to a board full of 20 year olds and get likes on a d*** pic!

Yo, why do so many of you have **** print pics on your computers? No legitimate reason for hetero males to post **** print pic as a means to celebrate something good. You ****gots who saved those pics and those who googled them are suspect. Bunch of Jared Fogel's in here

Homosexual does not equal child molester.

Mullins will play early and often. U can tell by his highlights that the game is in slow motion for him and he has the epitome of confidence.

The stage won't be too big bright or big for him, and this why he will not even come close to redshirting.

We'll see him in the 2nd half of the FAMU game, and a lot more for the next two games. These are his auditions for Richt and Dugans, if he shows out…look out Dayall Harris

From what I saw, we need Mullins urgently. We've had no names out there giving key DBs looks. Just from the standpoint of having a guy like Mullins challenge our DBs, it's really helpful.

I think Mullins will step in behind where they have Berrios and Coley playing. He can merely learn 4 scenarios and really help us.

Agreed. I think he plays this year and even being rusty will help us....

Unpopular opinion: Mullins is a bigger contributor this season than Bruce.

Mullins has gotta be rusty, but I think we need the help, and I think he's got the goods.

You don't redshirt players who can play for you right away, especially someone like this young man who was a close call
in qualifying, who may not be interested in 4 years of college.
Athletes like him have the potential to be 3-year players....to redshirt him would be robbing your program of at least one year
of him helping his teammates.
Play him now. Coaches can find opportunities for him if he as good as suspected.
Not sure why alot of folks have this need to see a bunch of folks redshirted.

The problem is that he hasn't been anywhere near a collegiate weight room this summer, he most likely knows little of the playbook, and he's weeks behind his fellow freshmen. He may be buried on the depth chart, just because of those factors, and no matter how talented he is, odds are he won't be able to pass guys who have a similar level of talent, who have been with the team the entire time. That's not including the liklihood that his first semester of collegiate level schoolwork may be a total disaster. This young man would benefit greatly from a redshirt year, he needs a chance to get acclimated to college, and he needs time to catch up to the other people in his class. Now, if he adjusts well and there's a chance he can see SIGNIFICANT playing time this year, then by all means play him. That said, Richards and Bruce will see a ton of time, and with the returning starters, there may not be much time left over for Mullins, even though he's a difference maker.

He has plenty of time to learn the playbook. The first few weeks of the season are cupcakes. So he will have plenty of time to be ready by the time we play games that count.

All of this may be true. The thing is though - Sam Bruce has been with the team longer & is still trying to adjust. Richards has also been with the team much longer & is battling Harris for playing time. Preseason is just about over, depth charts being formed, & about time to start game planning for teams.

I hope Mullins is eventually one of the all-time greats; he worked hard to qualify & is a true Cane. I think the only way Mullins can have much of an impact this year is either on special teams or maybe later in the season if he has the playbook down & we need someone to step up.

Remember- it's rare for a freshman to have a HUGE impact & especially for one joining the team this late. Hoping & wishing the best for this young man, but I think year 2 is where we see him truly show what he can do.

We play some soft teams to start the season. I would be disappointed if we did not score enough points to allow players like Mullins to get serious time

What really matters is what number is he rocking?

It's just so late in the game to make an impact for Mullins. The WR group looks solidified right now.

If anybody's stock has fallen, it's probably Ahmmon Richards. He's injury prone apparently (hurt at All-American game & now with turf toe).

Injury prone? That's the first time Richards been hurt thoughout highschool. Chill out.... Richards was balling before the turf toe injury

He didn't play in the Army All-American Game either.
