He is too talented to be off the field. Like I mentioned, he still has about 6 weeks to get ready for the real games. Plus you can start him out at Kick and Punt Return so that key guys like coley and corn aren't unnecessarily put at injury risk.

You don't redshirt players who can play for you right away, especially someone like this young man who was a close call
in qualifying, who may not be interested in 4 years of college.
Athletes like him have the potential to be 3-year players....to redshirt him would be robbing your program of at least one year
of him helping his teammates.
Play him now. Coaches can find opportunities for him if he as good as suspected.
Not sure why alot of folks have this need to see a bunch of folks redshirted.
