I really feel for the guy.
How badly does his draft status take a hit? Late season injuries sometimes don't matter. McGahee was drafted in the first round after he blew out his knee in the Fiesta Bowl. But he was at a different level than Herndon. Still, the pros will have plenty of tape on him.
I'm not familiar with the details of his injury. Is there any chance he'll be ready for pro day and the combine?

he'll be fine, the type of injury matters.

Mcgahee still lost millions, the dude was a baller and slipped to the late first round

It's the MCL, which is pretty straightforward w/a recovery time so shouldn't be an issue by combine time, w/the caveat that you never know until the knife is taken out. He was a solid 3rd rounder before and that shouldn't change.

TEs are big commodity in NFL now and Miami has long strong track record in that position. He'll get attention.

Since Njoku took one for the team and went to Cleveland, his only risk is the Phins, but I'd say his future is really bright. They don't draft great TEs, so they'll probably pass on him. He safe.
