Here's what I don't get:

The only way it seems like that would really work though is if their offense makes more mistakes then your offense, they give up 5 turnovers to your 2 or 3. Does he ever seem to incorporate that into the offenses plan though? If we just trade turnovers then the other team has the advantage just by being on the field longer and tiring our defense while our offense can't get into a rhythm and have to sit on the sidelines twiddling their thumbs for 10 minutes between every drive

Sure, but with how sophisticated offenses have gotten, and all the rule changes favoring more scoring, offenses aren't making those mistakes anymore. You can't sit back and hope for a mistake, because the Qbs will eat you alive with short completions. Al doesn't seem to grasp this. He got his outdated scheme from gold tablets handed down from St. Groh and he follows it to the letter, because his football acumen is too low and he doesn't know how to adjust. He and Corch D run the same crap snap after snap, week after week with no regard to what the opponent is actually doing. They care more about implementing this template than actually winning football games. There is no strategy, and it disgusting to watch.

Totally agree, and Ive made that point several times before. The days of QB's not knowing how to actually play QB until their junior year of college are long gone. HS QB's today have private coaches, grow up playing 7 on 7 passing leagues, have more specialized training products, etc. Its a different era. Golden doesnt seem to have the intellectual capacity to recognize that.

He's trying to get fired. 4 games in a row we attacked. Then we went into that soft shell again. Under routes killed us and they ran all over us with jet sweep. It's evident AG wants out.

Either this clown coaches from fear or he just doesn't give a. **** about this team. He lost his chance to get FSU and thus be attractive to some other decent program, so it's basically back to "**** it", I'll just go back to MY system!"

I agree. The point I'm trying to make is that even the little bubble that Golden is stuck in is incomplete. I haven't seen anything that tells me that Golden has the plan or design for a offense that plays the way it needs to to match his defense, such as to to minimize mistakes and lengthen drives with a strong running game that minimizes turnovers. Our offense has done that at times but not in any consistency that shows a commitment to this principle. If he can't even design the rest of his team around his stone-age defense how can he be expected to have the acumen needed to adapt to the current state of football.
