Here we go...

Who’s with me in rooting for some Jordan Travis style season ending injuries to these ****wad teams above us???

This is obvious and simple what they were trying to do. They think bama loses and BYU loses. If that happens, ND and Bama will swap again creating space for us and ND and to wide of a gap.if BYU wins ND gets the short end of the stick. If bama wins and BYU loses, you may have a discussion take place, but I doubt anything changes. If they do chose to swap, they will say they finally think being next to each other warranted a h2h comparison

They won't move bama down more than one spot imo

Wait, I think this was about as good of an outcome as we could have hoped for.

If BYU loses, we’re right next to ND. We’re going to get in guys if BYU loses.
I hope you are right but think about it for a minute.
If BYU wins, then they jump in and take ND spot.
If BYU loses, we jump up to one spot behind ND and then H2H flips us with them.
So, if BYU wins or loses, ND would be out.
That makes no sense. If that was the case, they would have flipped us tonight.
That dude was lying. No way idle teams will make a significant move in the top 10 rankings. Maybe they will in the lower part of the top 25 but hey I hope I am wrong.

This week was not about switching with ND... it was simply for the two schools to be in the same group of 3 so they can finally compare us. Then that's when the "honoring the H2H" discussion becomes realistic. They already explained they never honored it before because we were never being compared to them(wasn't in the same group of 3).

I would cancel the ND game. It doesnt make sense to play it when the committee doesn't value head to head. This is a joke. How does Alabama move up with barely beating a terrible Auburn team?
It was a gutsy road win after blowing a halftime lead. That's what they want now after saying this whole time they want to see large margins of victory from us.

If they intended to swap us, they could have easily had us jump BYU this week.

We had an impressive/dominant ranked win on the road and BYU was down by 14 at one point.

They didn't move us at all.

I'm not sure how they saw what Bama did and thought it deserved to move past ND but what we did wasn't enough to move past BYU.
Exactly. Im deadass expecting a 2 loss BYU to be above us next week as well. Even a 11-2 UVA wouldn’t jump a 9-3 Texas with how they have laid it out

They pre decided which teams fanbases have the best ratings with the networks.

It doesn't matter. The bowl system was better than this ****. I wouldn't play another down of football this year if I a was Miami. I would ***** the ACC and NCAA in no getting revenue sharing dollar for anything by not going to the bowl.

If our AD had any balls at all, that would be his first play. His second play is to notify everyone we will not be showing up to the game with Notre Dame next year. They can have the ACC sue us. They can have the NCAA sue us, they can have Notre Dame sue us. They could park the fuggin cameras looking at an empty **** field.

It would be a cold day in **** before they see a Miami Team again till game 1 of next year.

In addition, the ACC patches on every fuggin uniform with a U one it would be gone from tomorrow on.

Let a **** ton of asterisks show up for the CFP next year.

Kinda hilarious if they intend to state

11-2 BYU w/ two losses to TTech = outta the playoffs

11-2 UGA w/ two losses to Alabama = home game, 7th seed

Sounds like what he’s saying is
Once byu loses theyll
Have a reason to move Miami ahead of them
And then finally they can say Miami is close enough to nd that head to head matters
And the rerank of the total top 25 means

That’s what it should mean

But knowing our luck
BYU gonna win

And no, I'm not saying I still trust them to do the RIGHT thing..... but the H2H discussion is for next week. The only realistic outcome for us this week was for us to be close enough to nd. And we are...
