Im curious as to how this guy got hired given his track record as an OC.
Im also curious if nick publicly stated that he was going to be the OC for them. I dont remember an article that said that. I think it was just rumors. Its possible that the reason we got him is because nick told him he wasn't going to be the OC.Bcuz bama wanted him duh... don't you know anything???
Manny heard whispers, that’s how.Real legit ?, not trying to be an a-hole @ 11:20p PST/2:20a EST, but when was the last QB that Enos produced at the next level? Whether as HC or OC? I’m just wondering when or how he developed his title as QB whisper.
Manny. This is a list of where the Central Michigan offense ranked before and during the Dan Enos OC era (Enos was the OC from 2010-2014):
2006 - 20th (29.7 pts per game, 10-4 W/L)
2007 - 7th (34.8 pts per game, 8-6 W/L)
2008 - 21st (29.5 pts per game, 8-5 W/L)
2009 - 9th (33.9 pts per game, 12-2 W/L)
2010 - 72nd (24.3 pts per game, 3-9 W/L)
2011 - 71st (22.6 pts per game, 3-9 W/L)
2012 - 62nd (28.8 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2013 - 111th (23.3 pts per game, 6-6 W/L)
2014 - 65th (26.9 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
This is a list of where the Arkansas offense ranked before and during the Dan Enos OC era (Enos was the OC from 2015-2017):
2014 - 58th (31.9 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2015 - 33rd (35.9 pts per game, 8-5 W/L)
2016 - 53rd (30.3 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2017 - 97th (28.8 pts per game, 4-8 W/L)
Here is his current offensive ranking at Miami in 2019:
2019 - 83rd (31.3 pts per game, 2-2 W/L) *this includes a 63-0 over Bethune Cookman
Both schools went down in total 'Offensive Rank' and 'Win/Losses' during his tenure there. Im curious as to how this guy got hired given his track record as an OC.
Explains how we got him then. I see why saban didnt want him as OC.Locksley was leaving to go to Maryland and Saban wanted Steve Sarkisian and NOT Enos to replace him . what does that tell
you ? Tells me Saban wasn't going to trust his offense to Enos and probably didn't especially like him either.

One year as a QB coach on a great team, a team he had next to nothing to do with, and his career was on the rise. Only for idiots that think he was in any way responsible for Alabama's success. Let me ask you, how is Alabama doing now that mastermind Enos has left?
My example is of how much an offense can drop off after losing an all time great at QB.Leak to Tebow is a better example because both lead the team to titles and were complete opposite style qbs.
Leak threw one of the prettiest balls ever and Tebow threw one of the ugliest.
His offense was still productive. Brantley sucked.
He CAN do that.
Recruits is the main reason he needs to pull out all the stops to get wins and better prepare to deal with known problems.
Taking a tight end out of the route to help Zion does take away some of the threat downfield, but it doesn’t matter if the qb is under instant pressure.
He has to do more to give the offense a shot even if it means not being as versatile. Hopes and dreams won’t get us wins over beatable acc teams.
Max protect, rpo, screens, three receiver route combos, chips, swing passes, double teams, rollouts etc, etc, etc. Whatever it takes to get the ball out quickly and stay ahead of the chains has to be on the table. Our wide receivers have good wheels. We can do damage with rac yards.
The first drive against UFag was excellent and should be the blueprint. Get unc offense with some red zone touchdowns and we are cooking with gas.
Get the wins and show the recruits we mean business about TNM. Then you can build for the future.
I dont Think anybody has said anything about him being a qb whisper but he can coach qbs. In 2015 Brandon Allen was probably the best qb in the sec that year statistically, his brother Austin Allen was good the next. Hurts looked dramatically improved compared to his years prior to working with enos and he gave him a lot of credit.Real legit ?, not trying to be an a-hole @ 11:20p PST/2:20a EST, but when was the last QB that Enos produced at the next level? Kiffin should have left fau after his first year when his stock was hot but I can See why he stayed as he’s done that in that past from leaving Oakland to got to Tennessee to go to usc after 1 year stays.Being an assistant under Saban gets you a promotion to anything. Seriously, Maryland hired Saban’s former OC as head coach even though he had gone 3-33 as head coach at New Mexico.
If Lane Kiffin wasn’t so difficult to get along with, he’d have transformed his job as Saban’s OC into a Power 5 HC job.
I agree with the "whatever it takes" mantra, and he has shown he can adjust to max protect and quicker pass concepts. He did that against CMU. Gameplans should be specific to opponent and they should reflect the competencies of this roster.

Going by your standard we did well against Carolina, am I right? I mean we had a bunch of yards and Jarren completed about 70% of his passes. We ran for about 180 as well.
Doesn’t matter that we only scored 25. Who needs points. It was a great game, right?
