Here is some info on Dan Enos

Look at Urban Meyer's offense under Tebow and then his offense under Brantley. Same coach, same scheme, same school, different quarterback, different results.

Leak to Tebow is a better example because both lead the team to titles and were complete opposite style qbs.

Leak threw one of the prettiest balls ever and Tebow threw one of the ugliest.

His offense was still productive. Brantley sucked.

Saban and his crew find coaches who have the brainpower/capability of being great, and then Saban reigns in their stupidity and uses them to their full potential. Then those coaches leave and revert to their old tendencies.

This is a GREAT take.

I am more curious as to how our crack analysts on CIS did not mention this during the off season...
I thought the rule was you can only be positive during the off-season and only negative during the season

He looks like he snores when he’s awake

And apparently in his post career, Leak was still trying to throw balls around to young ladies. lol. Too soon.

Nobody wanted to listen though because, "NICK SABAN WANTED HIM, BRO!"
I can't say that i wasn't wanting to believe he was going be an improvement but after seeing the results so far. The truth was there.

I wonder if enos regrets not going to bama now after 4 games with this o line.

Him potentially calling plays at Alabama or Georgia is irrelevant. We don’t have their OL. He’s the one that said he would adjust in the offseason. And if he can’t do that we made the wrong hire.
The thing is. Even with Bama having an elite OL. Bama still played from the gun more times than not. They would go under center around the goal or short yardage.

Interesting, but he wasn’t calling plays at Alabama?

This is a list of where the Central Michigan offense ranked before and during the Dan Enos OC era (Enos was the OC from 2010-2014):
2006 - 20th (29.7 pts per game, 10-4 W/L)
2007 - 7th (34.8 pts per game, 8-6 W/L)
2008 - 21st (29.5 pts per game, 8-5 W/L)
2009 - 9th (33.9 pts per game, 12-2 W/L)
2010 - 72nd (24.3 pts per game, 3-9 W/L)
2011 - 71st (22.6 pts per game, 3-9 W/L)
2012 - 62nd (28.8 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2013 - 111th (23.3 pts per game, 6-6 W/L)
2014 - 65th (26.9 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)

This is a list of where the Arkansas offense ranked before and during the Dan Enos OC era (Enos was the OC from 2015-2017):
2014 - 58th (31.9 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2015 - 33rd (35.9 pts per game, 8-5 W/L)
2016 - 53rd (30.3 pts per game, 7-6 W/L)
2017 - 97th (28.8 pts per game, 4-8 W/L)

Here is his current offensive ranking at Miami in 2019:
2019 - 83rd (31.3 pts per game, 2-2 W/L) *this includes a 63-0 over Bethune Cookman

Both schools went down in total 'Offensive Rank' and 'Win/Losses' during his tenure there. Im curious as to how this guy got hired given his track record as an OC.

His 2015 Arkansas offense was legit. That QB could spin it and his rhythm was on point. Enos is a heck of a coach, but you have to look at personnel in those situations. The right QB means the world in his offense. Jarren needs to process and execute better.

I don't care how good or bad he was, he is doing a poor job now.

If we have to wait for him to have a 5 star OL for him to win then let's just pack it up now.

Eastern Washington OC would have been awesome. I also think an air raid type offense would do well in the ACC. Especially with our athletes at running back.
Agreed. Graham Harrell has USC's offense at 28th currently, which was way better then the 96th it was last year. I wish we would of got someone with a good track record but most were gone by the time manny came in. I really really wanted Kendal Briles.

And therein is the problem. You gotta hit on a really good qb for it to work. That to me is ****** coaching. Do more with less
