Can't really take issue with much that they said. Florida is not good...I think they are downplaying the rivalry aspect a bit here and not giving credit to their offense shutting down because our defense bullied them...but we have a 20 year track record of not closing out seasons so gonna take a minute to get the benefit of the doubt.

I mean I think it's fair for how Beck looked against Florida. If this team is gonna be near a national title contender he can't have games like that. Our offense is probably a bit overrated. Some very good players but nobody scares the daylights out of you. Besides the Oline. They are elite.

Yeah but it’s pounding your head against a wall to expect non-diehards to not have that in their head.

Honestly, I know I was ****ting bricks when they cut it to 13-7 and then Beck threw the pick. Felt like same old canes…wasting a borderline perfect game on one side of the ball. Gonna take more than a few games in September to do undo all that ****.

Good. Don't care what they think and don't want the national media's kudos either. They can say it's not a rivalry game all they want because UF stunk, so what? We bludgeoned their offense. They didn't convert a single 3rd down in 13 tries. Their QB threw for less than 100 yards and we put him back in a walking boot.

We would have been up 20-0 if the official had stuck the whistle in his butt where it belonged. We controlled that entire game from start to finish. They knew what we were going to do 90% of the time and they couldn't stop it. We could have done what Cam did multiple times last year and pointed to where the play was going to hit and they still couldn't do a thing about it because we dominated them.

I hope they glaze FSU all week next week. Please keep doing that.

Galloway is one of those people who believes that last year’s champion should always be #1 until they lose a game. Doesn’t matter if they lost every starter. Doesn’t matter if they beat an FCS team by one point. His opinion on anything means nothing to me.

I was just thinking this. Miami might be the best job in the country honestly. We’ve had TWO competent coaches in the past 20 years and both have/had the team ranked #2 at one point. Richt was in poor health/old and his recruiting showed that. Mario is young and driven and I think we are going to be in the convo for a while

I don’t understand how anyone could be upset at any skepticism even if this team is currently 4-0. If any other team beat a 1-2 Notre Dame, a 1-3 Florida team, and then USF, most of CIS would call them overrated or downplay them.
