They’re incapable of learning, big fella. We can attempt to stimulate thought, but it can be futile when there’s such meager brain function. How many times we gotta tell em to listen to big Johnny fam?
The went with field turf this past June so no issues there.
Do you know far inland chapel hill is? This storm is geared more towards the coast of carolina

These dudes have been so brainwashed by the social justice machine that they equate playing a 3 hour football game on a campus that won’t be impacted with lining up 10000 old ladies and punching them in the face. They act like if there’s damage in one part of a state that everyone in that state must either obey a 3 week moment of silence or rush there and fix it immediately.
Neither you nor I know enough about resource allocation to have the first clue whether a devastating coastal impact on Friday would interfere with stadium logistics Saturday.
And LOL to thinking that a major college football game only utilizes “campus police” resources.
The “social justice machine” has less than nothing to do with whether the state makes a decision that the resources (law enforcement, traffic, equipment, first responders) necessary for a major sporting event are better allocated to disaster recovery/support.
Not saying will or should... but it is most definitely not ridiculous that it could be the case.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. Dorian sat a hundred miles away from me for 2 days beating the sht out of the Bahamas. I too lost pine needles.I lives on a small island off the coast of Georgia. This storm is no joke. I lost some needles off my pine trees.
Look, I don't have a dog in this race and in by no means with the storm chasers here, but that apple weather app is utterly worthless and is wrong more often than right.Do you know far inland chapel hill is? This storm is geared more towards the coast of carolina

Raleigh down to an 8% chance of tropical storm winds and still 0% chance of hurricane force winds.
The only possible reason this game would be remotely affected is if there's catastrophic damage to the coastal areas like the Outer Banks and the entire government of North Carolina essentially shuts down. Which won't happen. UNC is open, RDU (The Raleigh/Durham airport) is open. Barring a complete meltdown of the forecast track, which has been nails to this point for going on a week, Raleigh will have virtually no impact and the game will go completely as planned.
Got it
Do you have connections to the athletic department or NC government? How are you finding out the game will be cancelled by 4pm today? I’m cool either way and not making some prediction, just curious where you get your info from?
It’s a game on campus. How many state resources are going to be sapped for a 3 hour football game on a campus far away from any damage? Do you think everyone in the state will need to converge on the area of the coast where there will likely be very modest damage? Just stop.Neither you nor I know enough about resource allocation to have the first clue whether a devastating coastal impact on Friday would interfere with stadium logistics Saturday.
