I told you guys a few days ago this was going to be played and in good weather. These storms suck all the bad weather up into them and the weather is usually fantastic right after they pass.
As long as the field doesn't get too much rain and become soggy it should be a fantastic day for a second Hurricane beatdown. They dodged the first one. They aren't dodging this one.

Man, I wish I was as confident as some here.

Canes are 3-4 against North Carolina in Chapel Hill since joining the ACC in 2004; those three wins by an combined 15 points.

Never scored more than 30 up there and never won by more than six—which happens to be the current point spread. Can't believe how many people I see talking about hanging 40+.

Not saying Miami can't win big; but history has proven otherwise over the years. I'm still scarred from 2004, as well as Butch just owning Randy for years—not to mention them hanging 59 on the Canes in 2015 and having to eke out a five-point win against a 1-5 squad in 2017 when UM was 6-0.

Will take a 1-point win up there if that's what it takes. Just win.

At some point this program is going to have to turn the corner. Clemson used to lose to South Carolina regularly and struggle with all the ACC teams. That stopped, and they’re a national power.

If we are ever going to turn the corner as a program we need to start whipping ****** teams like this. It’s gotta start somewhere sometime, or you’re just resigned to being a 3rd place Coastal team that wins the Coastal once every 5 years.

I talked to Mack Brown and all he did was babble about the early bird special at Cracker Barrel.

Manny better smash him.

Canes 45 - That Basketball School 17

They couldn't even be a basketball school without cheating their *** off for 20+ years. Henceforth, they should only be referred to as Cheater Hill or UNC Cheat. Whatever works for you.

Agreed; however, is it realistic for that to start with this young team?

Look at the opponent. If we can’t start turning the corner against them then I don’t know when we will.

We need to start showing recruits that the branding isn’t just empty chatter. You can’t keep getting in dog fights with crappy Coastal teams like we’ve been doing since we got in the league if we ever hope to turn the corner.

We outrecruit them. They won 2 games last year. True freshman QB. Entirely new staff. It’s time for UM to start making a statement. When you have the better roster you need to beat these teams comfortably. Then you build on that.

We could be playing the New England Patriots with a younger more mobile Tom Brady and that sour-puss Belichick who'd been gameplanning off spy-films of our pre-game practices, and people on here would say "We Roll"

Haven’t seen that anywhere. Probably won’t be able to directly fly in chapel hill but Miami could fly to Nashville Tennessee and then Greenville northcarolina if they need too

Chapel hill is a little farther inland than Raleigh North Carolina fwiw

Or we could be playing a **** 2-10 UNC team, and people on here would be shivering in the corner like cold chihuahuas.

projected to be a cat 1 still. its still at 110
And will be down to a category 1 on Thursday or Friday. Maybe sooner than that as it has decreased in recent days and will continue. It’s going to affect more coastal communities rather than inland ones like chapel hill, North Carolina
