I think the numbers he put up as a true freshman were unbelievable. And it was a first staff as well. They opened against a solid (but not great) South Carolina team last year, played us, Clemson, etc. they played and competed against good ball clubs last year. I don’t think he’s overrated.. but maybe he could have a sophomore slump? Sure

They brought Daniels in for 2021. Newman is going to be the starter for 2020.

Kid was a solid 4 Star out of high school who threw for 3600+ with 38 TDs and only 7 picks as a true freshman and he only got stronger as the year went on. Finished the season off throwing 70%/16/2 over the last four.
Imo that kid is legit. We're gonna have to agree to disagree on overrated.
