Very surprised to see Howell that low. Don’t really think he has a huge chance but he’s as talented as almost anyone on that list not named Lawrence.

I get that Rattler was a 5* No. 1 QB prospect out of HS, plays in an OU offense that seems to produce Heisman winners, and was on QB1, but second best odds feels strong for a RS FR who threw all of 11 passes last season. Vegas usually knows, though...

Rattler still has to win the starting job.

Just to be clear. Are you saying that Sam Howell is a better quarterback than D'Eriq King?
These are heisman odds. I think Howell is going to have as good a chance as anyone to win it this year. They return 10 out of 11 starters on offense from last year, their schedule sets up perfectly for them to make a run. The best player doesn’t always win the heisman. Sometimes it’s who puts up the best stats, along with how many wins their team has. Both King and Howell are exceptional players. Howell will probably be the better pro but King is electric. He’s proven that already at Houston with that 50 TD season. Lincoln Riley even said King was one of the top 5 QB’s in the country. I mentioned Howell because even if he doesn’t win it, I think he’s going to be a finalist. He’s that good. Trevor Lawrence is obviously the massive favorite though.
