I posted a rant thread about Miss Heather shortly before they announced we made the CFP because she kept saying “we’re not really looking at Miami or comparing them to Notre Dame. We’re talking more about Alabama and Notre Dame”. Something along those lines. I took that, at the time, as if the CFP wasn’t taking us seriously.

But looking back, perhaps, maybe, just maybe, the CFP had us in and they were deciding between Alabama and Notre Dame for the final spot and ultimately gave it to Alabama, seeded them above us because the big bad SEC runner up has to be ranked ahead of anyone else. Might as well be CFP law.
