Use of TOS in the OP and no link = negged.

Yea.. cause we never had a kid decommitt before and I really like to troll about recruits... Go to alligator alley and see for yourself...but you need to pay for subscription. He was committed to Florida at one point but they fell off because of his grades... Like I said I hope its not true but the poster was right about Jaynard Bostwick and a few others..TFWIW. Hopefully he sticks with the U

Sounds like a bunch of crap. Give a it a few more weeks when the Canes beat the Gators to see how he feels.

I don't get it. His GPA was too low for Florida originally but not Miami?

Its not that its more the fact that FLorida doesnt wanna risk taking a schollie on a kid who might not make it in.. On the other hand we are in desparate need of DT's and we will takle that risk

That makes no sense. UM is the top academic school in the state of Florida. Also, their requirements for admittance are up there with Stanford, Notre Dame, etc. With that said, why would a kid with a 1.9 gpa commit to UM only to improve his gpa to a 2.9 then switch to UF? That's backwards...

How is it possible that his grades are good enough for Miami but aren't good enough for Florida? In either case, he knows he has to improve his grades to get into Miami or Florida.

Doesn't make sense to me that he'd commit to Miami just because they said they would be willing to wait until NSD for his grades to get right. If that were the situation, he could of just remained uncommitted until then when he knew if he would even be able to get into a college.
