He did well when you consider half of his punts had to be rushed because he was punting from his own endzone.

He certainly had to rush. I'm happy with his performance. Not blown away, but happy.

42.5 gyds/p (long so far 49).

Good enough to tie for #42 vs NCAA last season.

I expect MUCH closer to 48/49 gypds/p when it's done (and that will be very hard to do).

Maintaining current average at least be better than last season, but fall short of what is possible.

The fact is he didn't shank anything, And we didn't see any 15 yard pants is an Improvement over last year.

The wide splits are going to be issues in the season. Protection and coverage were suspect
