The only names I can think of is Baylor’s Mack Rhoades and UCF’s Danny White. Are they hireable if offered $$$? Based on salaries of top ADs you’re looking over $1M a season.

Rhoades inherited the Baylor FB mess and hired Matt Rheul who went 11-3 in Year 3 and is now an NFL HC. Hired Dave Aranda away from LSU. Baylor men’s basketball won the NCAA tournament last year. Women‘s basketball is a power.

White built UCF FB into a Group of Five darling, hiring Frost and replacing with Hueple.

The rest of the top ADs, at schools in the CFB Top 10, aren’t leaving until they retire.

Like the HC job, being Miami AD needs to be a destination job, not stepping stone.

Idk why so much hate for Manny. He’s a guy that obviously cares about the job a lot. We just don’t have the talent to compete with the big boys yet. We’ve been taking these kinds L’s to teams like this since Randy was in town. Wanna be mad at somebody, look at Blake James stupid face.
 
Matt Campbell is a Midwest Guy. I like him, a lot, but even though the Big 12 is in trouble I don’t see him leaving unless it’s a top tier Big 10 job. He’s already making $4M in Ames, Iowa without NC expectations.

Same for Fickell at Cincinnati. I’d wager he’s waiting for the OSU job to open up until it’s clear Ryan Day isn‘t leaving for the NFL any time soon (he’s been an NFL assistant). Fickell is a born and bred Buckeye.

Patterson is a lifer at TCU and would retire before taking another job.

Bill Clark I could get behind but would be concerned about yet another staff from a lower tier.

Kansas coach. Atleast he won their 1st game in 2 years. Seriously though no coach except maybe 2 or 3 elites could turn this around to beat top teams.

but yiu can’t go wrong with Freeze. MF would light it up here
