Borreagles is a **** of a kicker. I'm sure he can onside kick it well. Just onside kick it after each score. All we need is for it to work once or twice a game, and we'll be able to have a 1 to 2 TD cushion all game. Defense will probably allow them to score anyways, so might as well try to get more possessions in there somewhere.

This is actually a sound plan. The chances of us recovering an onside kick are better than our chances of stopping an offense after a kickoff so why not?

So basically, you are saying we need to stop them on 4th down. Although teams seem to kick their personal best FG's against us, most teams have stopped going for FG's. They know they need TD's to keep up with us. Was really surprised that Manny went for that FG when our offense started clicking again.

Our defense is allowing the opponent to convert 4th downs at almost a 60% successful rate. On both of FSU's scoring drives, they converted a 4th down to extend the drive. VT, Cal, Louisville, FSU, and Duke have all scored TD's on drives where they converted a 4th down to extend the drive, or scored a TD on the 4th down play.

This defense has problems. But anyone shook by King being the starter needs to grow a pair. He is a mid level QB playing at a mid level school. He is right where he should be. They probably score 28 points versus 21 if he was not playing.

He was 100% healthy last year and we smacked him around. He had one great throw at the end of the game but besides that he was average.
