Don't want a big thread-hijacking debate, but you're take is borderline ridiculous. Did you ever ask yourself why it's expensive? When demand exceeds supply, prices go up. You might not like CA, but many people obviously do. It has also generated more wealth creation in the last decade than any state in the US and most small countries; trends are accelerating.

More false statements.

I don’t care that you’re poor and an underachiever. The comment was made that Florida weed was better than California weed and it simply isn’t. I did not make it all things Florida vs all things California, but clearly that’s what you want to do.

I live near the beach and bought my house less than three years ago. I also went to UM on need based grants, scholarships and loans. I have BUSTED MY **** to get to the place I am at for decades. Hate California all you want. Go cry to someone else.

I’d never move from here unless I were priced out, but the prices are incredibly ridiculous. Demand has exceeded supply since the 1980s at least, and now we’re in the terminal stage.

Recent legislation aimed at curbing environmental regulations isn’t helping spur much growth. Developers want a big return on their investments and large multi-family developments just don’t produce as much as sprawling single-family units. Tie that in with a large, old, NIMBY population, and we see prices continue to rise and productive farmland get eaten up to make way for inefficient planned developments. Meanwhile we’re fast tracking data center projects for no reason, sucking up whatever water we have left to produce food and hydrate our massive population.

Uhhhh...I think you missed my point. One player doesnt change the course of a team that is **** good. There was panic after Patton was kicked off about our running game and if McGuire and Jones could hold the fort down... And there is panic about Lowe being kicked off because of depth. We will be fine. This team is too good for one person to throw it off course.

Remote work and the expansion of job opportunities it created were a big reason and allowed people to move to lower cost of living states, something they were unable to do if they wanted to participate in the industries California supported.

The problem for the people who previously lived in those states is that housing increased there as well. Northerners moving down to Florida had a lot more money to spend than others down here and cost of living has skyrocketed. And this moronic property tax bill is going to send that problem into hyperdrive. Eventually Florida will run into the same problem California has.

Cali has its problems but its hard to beat overall. Its also been the center of the cannabis world for decades now.
