Im old enough to remember when we had to kick Martin Patton off the team back in 1991 (and it took ALOT to get kicked off the team back in those days)..and he was a stud RB with speed and I thought we were done with just Larry Jones and Stephen McGuire. Well we won the national title and nobody remembered Marty since.

Point being..I don’t see the panic here. We had Bain and Mesidor basically taking all the snaps most of the season including playoffs and we did just fine. We have enough depth at DE. Whoever the 5th DE is isn’t playing much anyway barring injury. The fight is for the 4th DE spot and you guys just handed it to Lowe. Let’s see what happens. And not act like this is the end of days if these rumors are true.

Cole M want's to see the field, and his best chance of doing that is sticking with TE. Lowe was probably going to be 5th in the rotation this season- Wilson, Lightfoot, Blount and Scroggins.
