McConathy was always a hustle kid that’s how he did so well in HS. He won’t be the most athletically gifted of the team. But his floor is super high. I’d take another Chickillo in a heartbeat. Can he be that?

Pickett is fine as a 3rd string DE, TBH. He's not ready to be that key rotational guy.

Scroggins has potential - we'll see. There's depth but the question is how good and ready will this depth be for game 1? For many of our DEs, they won't be. If Lowe is gone, it's down to Scroggins and Blount to fill that void. Ideally Pickett can show out during fall pratice to provide SOME reps.

Blount will be starting, he’s not depth.

There's a lot of green space between hoping a transfer doesn't succeed at another team and hoping he ends up in jail.

Seeing the momentum & motion our DE’s have and getting coached by a HOF player yet fumbling that opportunity is wild. I pray he does some true self reflection regardless if he’s on or off the team. At some point you gotta just look in the mirror and hold yourself accountable!

Unverified update is he messed up again and the team leaders said no to another chance so he’ll never play a down for the Hurricanes. Disappointing. Mario really put himself out there by mentioning him so there was progress and it shows he’s got talent.

Literally set 6 figures on fire for this guy and got zero return smh.

I think Mario has earned a bit of goodwill with last year's run and recent recruiting!
