Well, 18 pages in on a topic that still hasn’t been verified is debatable of being accurate information. My point is people like to elevate themselves on being more dialed in than they really are.
"18 pages in" - there have been plenty of tangents in this thread, it's not all about Hayden Lowe.
"a topic that still hasn't been verified" - look, you are entitled to form your thoughts and conclusions any way you want, but what is "verification" to you? If you want to read yesterday's news, then by all means, wait for the thud of the newspaper on your front porch in the morning. Nobody forced you to read this thread. You are welcome to go to a subscription website and wait for someone to publish an article if you need "verification". Go back a few pages to see the poster who said that his source verified that there was an incident. If that's not good enough for you, that's fine, nobody is forcing you to believe anything you don't want to believe.
"being more dialed in than they really are" - how would you know? Who are you to say both (a) anyone's information is incorrect, and (b) anyone falsified the level and accuracy of the information shared.
Here is the reality of this thread.
Geo, on his live podcast show, was getting questions about Hayden Lowe in the chat. I've seen the show replay, there were a LOT of Hayden Lowe questions, even after Geo answered. Geo did not volunteer the information without being asked. To accuse Geo of doing something "for clicks" would also require him, in the middle of his own live show, to be feeding himself multiple questions, which he only answered once.
And I do know that hours before Geo's show aired live, there were plenty of UM alums and boosters communicating via text and phone calls about the latest Hayden Lowe incident. Yes, it has not been officially announced yet, and maybe Mario will use the incident to impress the relevance of "how close" you can come to blowing your big chance.
But think about what you already know. Whatever happened PREVIOUSLY this year cost Hayden Lowe practice time and scrimmage time. Whatever that incident is (and some people know what it is), he has already been sidelined once before. Maybe, just maybe, the same type of thing happened again, and Mario is using progressive punishment. I'm not sure why this is such a shocking or unexpected situation.
As a side note, it's always funny when people use "something that a coach or a player said two weeks ago" to undermine the credibility of a more recent event.
Look, in much the same way that people can twist or misinterpret comments to conclude that Hayden Lowe wants more NIL (not the case), people could also twist or misinterpret the accurate details of these incidents even if people chose to share them. So it's probably better not to share the details, and just hope that Hayden Lowe chooses to address the issue and that the coaches give him another chance.
Good lord, I can only imagine what would have happened on this board if someone had posted accurate (but "unverified") information that Rueben Bain was involved in a fatal car accident years ago.
