everyone else, unless Im off, hasnt played and we lost Bain, Mesidor and Simpson and Russell as depth and we stayed injury free last season

On OL we lost the 2 OTs, Cooper and Kinsler

Replacing 2 NFL OTs and 2 1st Rd DEs is not easy so yeah, if Lowe is out, its a big deal
Davis and Carter are significant upgrades over those two. Plus you bring in a legit DT class

I wish kinsler could have stayed for depth, buthe wanted to start. In fact, the team he’s starting for almost went to the national championship last year. What does that say about the rest of the room?

Anyone else think we could have snagged one more OL from the portal for depth? Or are we banking on these youngins to be rotational guys this year?

Does anyone else get the vibe that Geo Milian is actually a Central American cocaine distributor? I swear I bought a couple small bags from him in the restroom at Dan Marino's Bar & Grill in CocoWalk circa 1994 when he was just starting out. After some creative googling, I think he's really Arturo Beltran Leyva.
Muhfuggas out here naming names

For the record, Georgia lost their best DE in spring practice due to knee injury, likely out for the season. Every team will lose guys. Key guys, even. Sometimes for multiple games. We did last year. Still found a way to make a deep playoff run. The key to it was having all our key guys healthy ready for the playoff.

Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

Yep.
And we need to reduce key guys' snaps in runaway games. Keep them healthy for the post-season.

Yeah my worst nightmare is a game we’re ahead by 40+ and we lost one of our stars to some freak injury that derails the best shot we’ve had at a championship in 25 years.

We had good injury luck, I would say. There weren’t many season-ending ones. But we had a lot of key contributors miss time.

Fletcher missed multiple games.
Daniels missed multiple games.
Lyle got hurt week 1.
Lofton missed multiple games.
Moten was banged up late.
Lowe missed the whole year.
Pringle missed multiple games, didn’t he?
Damari Brown might not exist.
OJ missed multiple games.
Keionte Scott missed multiple games.

I’m sure I’m missing some, too. So we missed a ton of key contributors. We just didn’t have (thank god) a lot of long-term stuff.

Whatever happens, I trust JT and the guys on the roster. Would've been nice to have him get some reps as DE 3 this year but oh well.

The dline is much deeper than it was last year and no it’s not a big deal regardless if lowe plays or not because we have enough depth with or without him. Oline is the only position I’ll accept a little mopey *****ing and whining about depth if one of our projected starters are injured.

But even then, we’re in a lot better shape than almost every other team when it comes to OL depth. Proven guys? Maybe not. But the talent is there.
