Hayden Lowe..

Zero idea about if this is true or not, but why would any player portal before season, especially one who already missed an entire season and with zero game film? That’s be two full years without playing ball.

I've made nothing up. If you actually listened to what Gio said, he started it all off with a disclaimer that if he said too much, his phone would start to blow up. Clearly, people do not want to get into specifics and details until a formal announcement is made. You're just jealous because you don't know the people I know and you don't have the information that I have. Sorry for your loss, but you should stick to trying to interpret random tweets. You're not good at it, but it's your only source of information.

And for the record, you really need to stop lying about me. I never said:

(a) we weren't hiring Jai Lucas, or
(b) Jai Lucas was the worst hire in Miami Athletics history

I know that your profile picture is Jai Lucas, but it's really not too much to ask you to stop lying about the things I said. Or, in this case, never said.

It's not "thrilling".

Someone started this thread based on Geo's podcast. And that is fair.

And then people start to speculate ("why would Lowe choose to leave"), and then it might become more beneficial for the conversation to be steered in the right direction.

Nobody, including Geo, who specifically prefaced his comments with something to the effect of "I can't say too much or my phone will blow up", wants to give all the specifics until something official happens. Nobody wants to undermine Lowe's seventeenth chance, assuming he gets that chance to turn things around.

Miami handles these situations better than most programs, which is one of the advantages of being a private school and having a near-FBI-agent as the head coach. Most stuff doesn't get out unless there is legal action. And even then, most people didn't know anything about one of our players until the week before the draft.

This is why God invented texts and DMs.

As much as I truly believe we need him for SDE depth. You can’t go from out all spring, finally return to team, and boom something new happens. Think everyone knows how this plays out…

Geo didn’t say he’d portal before the season, just that he prob wouldn't play then might portal after the year is over.

For some, I would imagine incredibly addicting.

Fills a hole online that they can't fill in real life.

I'm not saying this Geo [I've never met and sure he's a wonderful guy] is guilty of that, I'm just answering your question thematically.
