Haven’t seen it discussed, what’s the issue with bolden...

Some in my family needed transcripts and college administrations feel zero urgency.

NCAA loves to **** on us for some reason. These delays getting guys cleared, academic redshirt, giving us the worst refs in the country in sports. Taking 37 years to come to a resolution on an investigation. Bunch of ****boys. I’m gonna egg their cars and **** on their lawns.

Didnt he go to St. Thomas?? WTF?

He did but I believe there was at least one other school and some home schooling time, too. That was the original problem: lots of academics to sort through. They probably want to make sure he has at least the basic classes under his belt.

Bolden is a clearinghouse issue. Hernandez was a compliance case.

There's not really any correlation

That makes you feel better about having one of our most talented players unexpectedly miss one of our biggest games?

This isn't a hypothetical. This already happened. The NCAA already screwed us, and there's a decent chance it continues to do so.

I think it's pretty myopic (and I expect no less from this board) to think that everything runs smoothly and justly at one NCAA division vs another.

Sounds fishy to me but would not surprise me either. NCAA,officialdom lives in their own world and change the rules they abide by on the fly.

This time is allowing bolden to get fully immersed with our strength and conditioning staff so it’s not necessarily a bad thing really. He’s going to be ready whenever he gets to plays

Ivins reporting Bolden will be out until VT, at least.

I'm so glad this isn't a compliance issue, though. That makes me feel much better about our star transfer missing at least a 3rd of the season, including a pivotal conference road game and our first matchup against a hated rival in 6 years.
