I am from germany and play ball over here. Does the article say anything about where he played over here? Had a guy at our youth team that had the same background went to VT, every body knows how Björn Werner and Sebastian Vollmer worked out and they were all German.

Just checked him online. Played youth ball over here. So he didnt have competetion at all. He has great measurables and since he is now in high school he will face better competition and get better choaching. Def worth keeping an eye on!

In '98 Miami had a DE named Bill Bannard who was German. I'm almost positive that he was a walk-on though. I don't recall him playing much if it all, although he might have seen some garbage time snaps against Temple, Rutgers, etc. when UM was up 55.

In the late '60's, we had a receiver named Dieter Matthes, who was from Norland. He was one of the top players in Dade his senior year. I have no idea where he was born, but his name suggests he might have parents from Germany, if not born in Germany.

Jethro was born in France, which is pretty close to Germany. Zev Lumelski was born in Russia. Ted Hendricks was born in Guatemala.

Can't think of a German, unless it was Matthes.

his father was a us-college import player in germany.....i played football in the 90´s with his dad. his mother is german.
