Have never seen a line move like that when A&M looked good week 1

There were a lot of signs in that Miami OH game that we may have turned this around from last year. I think for the average CFB fan you look at a 38-3 score and think nothing of it but it was obvious to anyone who cares about Miami football.

I will say this, as much as Jimbo is on the hot seat, I think that offense puts up some big numbers this year. I don't think A&M has another 5 win season. I'm glad we played them early. They have a good shot to be 4-1 going into the Bama game at home. I can see them winning 8 games, maybe 9 if they get lucky. Their fan base has such high expectations but if they go 4-1 and beat Bama nobody is gonna care about the Miami game.

100% agree. We just beat a talented team. The Aggies are much better on offense this year compared to last year and I thought their dline was stout. Lbs were meh, but their secondary was weak. Which is interesting because apparently they had a good pass D last year

Weigman is going to be pretty good imo. They need to do better job of setting up deep shots. You can do that by finding more ways to get little rb ball more. Put him in motion and allow him to work his way through the wash on meshes and shallows. Then boom to their TE and Stewart on deep balls.

Their defensive line just got punched in the mouth. Let’s see how they react moving forward. That will be set tone for rest of season for them.

I can see them beating Bama again.

Their fan base will still be scratching their heads trying to figure out how they could’ve lost to a team outside the SEC that didn’t fill up its own stadium. Lol.

I think fan expectations are so funny and so disconnected from reality sometimes. And I'm guilty of it. We all are.

Nick Saban is arguably the greatest coach in the history of college football and in his 17 years at Alabama and 28 years coaching college football he's only had a perfect season twice. And one of those years was the 2020 Covid season, so you could make a case to ignore that.

In the last 20 years, 11 of the 20 championship teams have had at least 1 loss. I mean death, taxes, and losing at least one game throughout the season. That's college football. And those are the teams that win the championship. The rest of us are guaranteed to lose multiple games.

And their 6'5 WR Thomas is a dangerous red zone target. Smith in the slot is very effective with Stewart outside having the most complete skill set. I thought their RB Owens looked **** good on pass plays and will have more success as the season goes on since his touches will increase.

Especially if we're winning too.

Yeah, I loathe Jimbo, but was legit concerned with ATM for good reason - not a "bad" team on paper and reality. They do have a load of talent, Petrino - Durkin tho....

If Milroe is still their QB, they can absolutely beat Bama. Their run D pretty much stymied us, and they should keep Bama’s relatively in check.

But Weigman is going to have to play a near perfect game. If I’m Saban, I start getting Holstein ready. If they switch Milroe for Buchner…lol.
