Hate to break it to the crybabies...

And you don’t get there were other factors that cost us the game than JT’s muffed punt.

You can move factors around. Yes many other factors were crucial. But you had to be there. The one play that killed us was the muffed punt..especially because it was a brain dead boneheaded play a high school player knows not to make. He also didn’t catch that TD, something big time players will do.

He’ll win us some games down the line, but a good player like him can’t be let off the hook. He gave them 7 and killed our momentum. We were on our way to winning the game prior to that muff - FACT

Obviously not the fan in me wants to win the the fan in me over the last 20 years knows that it moght be better not to win these games with smoke and mirrors it bought other staff’s extra time because of fluke wins, were terrible from top to bottom and i have no clue what we can do to solve it one thing i did know diaz was not the answer and his pathetic pee wee preparation showed tonite

A win would of been worse it would of been another case of smoke and mirror’s like we had with the past 20 years of regimes
Yeah. Thank goodness we lost. A win after a million penalties, fumbles, sacks woulda been so misleading.

Truth.

And as Uncle Joe wisely says, Truth is better than facts.

Fact, Bubba makes that 27 yard'er and we win the game. Why won't anyone give our qb and rookie OL a break? You have one job, kick a ball. I played basketball at the U so I know. Kickers don't run sprints or basically do anything accept hang out in the training room. It's an ongoing constant joke. I tore my hamstring off the bone playing ball but I have one year of eligibility left and was all state 4 years playing soccer. Maybe my 38 year old *** should come show this swamp water moron how to make a 27 yard FG.

He is going to end up like the last 3 coaches if he doesn't fire Dan Enos after the season. (3 year deal, 1M per). Manny needed the best Spread OC he could find and instead he hired a Wisconsin style of OC. I was skeptical about Enos but now he is a red flag. I understand it one game but I gave Richt so many passes and excuses for not running a system that doesn't work with Florida kids and got burned hoping it would get better and it only got worse.

What I realize now is that things don't get better from here when the very system of the offense doesn't fit the team. Look at Florida's improvement going to a spread, look at UCF offensive success in a spread, although FSU won't be any good don't be surprised if FSU's spread offense suddenly makes make them look more competent offensive. We're trying to run a power Big 10 offense with Florida kids.
Enos certainly deserves his share of criticism but to say we are running a power Big 10 offense is going full ******. Never go full ******!

Yes we were. These slow developing play action based plays from under center are the sh*t you see in the Big 10. Have you ever watched Michigan State? or Iowa? How can you watch Wisconsin 2 years in a row and now see the resemblance offensive.

Yes sure but that is only one aspect of a very eclectic and multiple offense. To be clear I was not happy with Enos last night. My anger stems completely from his total lack of adjustments in the second half. I think he called a very good game in the first half but at the half I knew and everyone here knew that Mullen/Grantham would adjust to take away the short passing game and that's exactly what they did. Enos the million dollar man had no effing clue what to do after that. He had both of his OTs getting getting abused and he never adjusted the protection but rather left 2 freshmen OTs to fend for themselves. Not only that but Enos kept JW under center and running play fakes. It was literally the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.

He could have gone to max protect or kept a TE or FB in to help or widen the line splits but the guy did nothing while his 2 freshmen tackles were getting raped and pillaged. I'm not one of people here who are overeacting saying we are an 8 win team. I think this team has great potential and expect us to get better and better every week but the fact that Enos got outcoached by Grantham is concerning to me. Enos is supposed to be one of the most knowledgeable and respected OCs in the game and we pay him 1million a year. Nick Saban was going to promote Enos to OC so we know the guy must have something going for him. I'm just having a very hard time trying to reconcile Enos's impressive resume and credentials with what I saw in the second half Saturday night.

The only news is that we lost. Tired of all these sunshine pumpers.
I saw major red flags from this regime consistent with previous failed regimes.

I did not. The biggest positive is our guys played hard the entire game against a very good (not great) opponent effectively on the road. The second biggest positive is we have ourselves a QB.

I am disappointed about how sloppy we were - the delay of game penalties were inexcusable.

What I am looking for is steady improvement and adjustments as the year progresses.

Can’t judge a season from a single game. Need to see how we improve from here on our.

I feel good overall. Last year after every loss I was super ****ed off. My wife (who doesn’t give a **** about football) would always know when we lost right away and the next day based on my mood. She asked me yesterday if we won.

Yawn. Same kinda half glass full approach for last 3 corches.

Put up or shut up.
Listen, I understand everyone’s weariness but all this negativity is just plain absurd. We lost by 4 points. If this game would have been played at the end of last season we would have got beaten by 40! Gotta give Manny at least a season before you decide he’s a POS!

You act/post like he is the only punt returner that ever muffled a punt or dropped a pass. It was crucial time but s$it happens. If needed, I can send you clips from every NFL and college team that that has happened too. Get a grip

I actually thought that was the first time that ever happened in the history of football.

You didn’t dispute the truth of a single thing I said.
