Hate to be that guy, but

The game was getting away from Ohio State. They were the better team, but weren’t being allowed to be great because of the plays Miami was making. The universe had no problem with the reversal.
The better team on paper…
That was settled on the field though

You know it's bad when folks on the Hokie board were saying the officials were ******** us on that call.

Regardless, I'll take that officiating crew over the garbage from the ACC.
Oh 100% I really enjoyed the lack of calls and letting both teams play. Saying there was enough to overturn that call was wild though.

I cannot remember in my decades of watching football a first down being reviewed and overturned after being called a first down on the field. What prompted them to review it, did I miss something?

The context in which that happened was what was so
I thought it was maybe a few inches short. To me it was about the spot. They had him a yard and a half short it made no sense.

It was a clear first down, especially on replay, but you're telling me there was enough to OVERTURN?

Love to be that guy. The truth is without need of preface. Then they didn’t review Bo Jackson’s TD run at the goal line.
