They are 21-4 in their last 25 and we are 15-10 in our last 25. They've also won their conference championship and had players drafted in the first round. UM, not so much.

No chance, not yet at least. They got lucky a few years with Borttles. They play a JOKE of a schdule and they are currently after winning a conference championship in 80th place in recruiting

Their conference sucks, but Al would still not will it. So as long as Al is our HC, then yes they have left us behind.

We need to play them in a bowl, and repeat the South Florida episode, on the surface they have passed us as a program, Butch Davis could change that in a heartbeat.

And won a bcs bowl game which we haven't in 10. Years

This is the major factor of being a better coached team. Are they more talented, NO are they better coached, YES. They went into a BCS bowl and won, we haven't won a bowl in how long?

I feel quite certain they would've beaten us head to head the past 5 seasons... like any other teams with a pulse.

I don't think so but the fact that the question posed is a reasonable question makes me sick. I think it would be easier on most of us if they just shut the program down. The whole Shapiro thing was a nightmare but I never lost hope. Golden and the admin have taken almost all the hope I have left. For me the only thing that is left to cling to is the .0000001 chance that this admin would see the amazing opportunity and timing and hire Butch. Won't happen but it's all I have left.

Yes and they are committed to football and to winning and have the resources. If they get invited to one of the power 5 conferences they will be a really good program

They are a better program than us today. But if you consider the 'dynasty' aspect of a program, UCF is nowhere close. VT has more Conference Championships and BCS wins and as many National Titles as UCF.

They have clearly passed us. The only thing we do better is recruit and then subsequently waste talent. O'Liar is s real football coach, not a wind sock with a tie.
