Has the fan base ever been this ****ed?

Golden and Randy Shannon drove me crazy. Both hires were lazy and at best a shot in the dark. Richt seems to have lost South Florida though so 2-3 more years of sucking. 1/4 century of sucking by the time we get another coach. I’m honestly officially accustomed to being ******. We have routinely been out of the race for the major recruits. Bag men or not we can’t win without top talent kids even if we had good coaching

Maybe...but that D kept us from being a 4-8 team this year. They kept us within 1 score in 3 of our losses. They were also on the field all game, every game trying to stop opponents who had a short field because of our laughable special teams and offense. Manny was definitely a good coach.
 
The same stuff happened at Georgia. Why are we surprised? He had great recruiting classes that kept him in the game but he never one the big games. Think Florida owning him every year. He is supposed to be a QB guy but the reality says different. He mismanages the position way to much. Outside of having great RB's to bail him out his passing game has never set the world on fire.

Have you checked to see how many Golden players are in the NFL?

There was talent then. In 2014, we had 6/7 guys drafted.
 
I would say the worst I've seen was after the loss to Virginia in the last game at the OB
 
This is by far the worst. As MIA said, people defended Golden until the end. This has blown up completely in year 3

What is different now is the number of fans who have accepted that Miami is dead and will never be back. Staggering, and I can’t say I disagree with any of them.
 
Golden lost Joe Rose, Don Baily and Joe Z. That's about as bad as you can get.

Looks like Richt lost Rose last night because he is going in this morning on Richt.

This. If you’re at least trying to fix **** I get it. It’s the stubbornness of doing the same thing over and over.
 
People are going to be more ****ed now because we got a taste of being good last year. Its like a female that let you put the head in and you feel how good the P*ssy is. A year later she still haven't let you smash.
 
Personally, Richt makes me the angriest because he is supposed to be qualified for this job and is finding a way to look worse than the previous clown. Coker, Shannon and Golden simply were in over their heads and with that perspective can understand our short comings. With Miami finally going out spending money and hiring someone that experience wise isn't in over his head to look this bad is what makes it so infuriating. We are paying double for Richt for the team to be just as bad as the Golden teams. Richt has played his alum and status card perfectly (donating to IPF and getting his extension after year 2) to secure more time here and has now gotten to a point where he is making decisions just to stick it to the fans and media who have been critical of him. His arrogance and stubbornness is what gets my blood boiling the most.

The Richt hire was even lazier than the Coker, Shannon and Coker hires. They did zero research into the selection and just took Richt because he was available - never mind WHY and HOW he was available. Let's be honest. We have a multi-decade tradition of lazy-***, unaccountable hires.

Agree with this and will add.
This guy Ricktard is the farthest thing from a QB guy. He had one decent year at QB for UM in 1981 and did jack crap after that with no NFL career. That's like taking marriage advice from someone who's been divorced multiple times..lmao
 
Here’s y I’m more upset:

1. I never wanted Richt, yet I tried to justify and get behind the hire.

2. Richt has no excuses as to what’s happening here. Golden has to deal w a crippling scandal. Golden came from Temple. The problem w/ Golden was his flat out refusal to replace D’Onofrio. It could be argued that if Golden replaces D’Onfrio he may either still be our coach or still in a P5 conference.

With Richt, there is no excuses. He comes from a P5 team and from the best conference in DI. He’s had 15 yrs of experience under his belt. There are no sanctions. There is no cloud. He’s not just loyal to one guy, this dude is loyal to his archaic ideologies and the entire staph. Best collection of talent in the ACC Coastal, and top 3 overall in the ACC, and he’s doing less here than UGA w an easier schedule!

I literally can’t wrap my mind around what’s going on here. ****, even Golden didn’t have back to back seasons w 4 game losing streaks, yet this “proven” coach has three of them in three years. How??

Oh, just in case anyone’s keeping track:

we are now 4-9 in our last 13 against P5 schools and we have

in our last 21 games v. P5 schools, we have cracked 30+ points only 5x. ****, even Golden’s teams put up more 30+ games in that stretch!

Anger doesn’t really describe what I feel. Lol
 
with Golden I was extremely ****ed. Now I have reached a stage that I'm completely apathetic. I didn't bother to watch the BC, Duke or GT games. Last night I turned off the game as soon as it was 14-0. I've put up my UM gear. Until I hear that there is a drastic change I don't see a reason to invest any more of my time and/or energy. Life is short, why bother to spend 3 hours of my life watching something that's just going to upset me.

I’m with you. I remember the OB and waking up the next day sun burnt with UM on my face!! I’m so fed up. Going on two decades of this crap. I dropped my UM $4k tickets.
