...Thrown on the run? I understand he had a horrible game and all that. But I don't think I have ever seen him throw on the run. He always tucks it and goes or throws. It is to predictable and if he could throw on the run sometimes it would keep their defense more honest. Thoughts?

He cannot hit the broad side of a barn with a clean pocket and no pressure...

He cannot throw on the run.

Another thought or question is he ever run under center, I DO NOT like being a shotgun team, that is not Miami football, richt knows this. We need to recruit pro style quarterbacks and get back to playing Caneball

Prostyle teams will not win in college football in 2017.

We seriously have people still wanting prostyle QBs here?

Give me a Quinton Flowers or Lamar Jackson every year and we will win a million games.

Prostyle should be ancient history at the U.

QBs who struggle with accuracy generally don't improve on the run.

I would have liked to have seen Richt at least try it with our biggest pass catchers on the field (Cager, Langham, Herndon). If Rosier couldn't put it on the numbers, maybe the players with the biggest catch radius could have helped. I'm not an offensive coordinator, but I think there is more than one way to beat a defense that is selling out to stop the run other than chucking it 50 yards downfield repeatedly.

Rosier had an off day yesterday... he over-threw, accuracy was off, screen passes off the mark, etc. But my opinion is that earlier in the year bad play calling and an anemic run game was our major liability not Malik's arm. Rosier's legs have been an added threat... pocket passers in college are a liability.

Qb's generally has a at least 3 options in a play. The short outs, middle, and deep post/flag routes.

He hit Mullins on that sideline catch earlier in the year - a great catch by Mullins.

Probably a couple others, but not too many more.

Prostyle teams did not win in college football before 1983 either. We brought it in.

My assumption is that Richt has tried it in practice and not liked what he saw. It has to have occurred to him to try it, and the fact you never see it says Rosier can't do it. Which is a **** shame.

I can’t lie. Watching Flowers drop dimes all over the field against ucf had me a little jealous

My gripe with Rosier and scrambling is he never tried to escape outside the pocket to buy more time or run. He always tries to pick a hole and escape up the middle. Then he is no threat to throw the ball and runs right into the sack....
