I’ve noticed both DeeJay and Homer don’t have that breakaway speed we saw last year. I know DeeJay added weight not sure if Homer did the same but Cam has that extra gear

In addition to that when the game wa: 14-17 deejay fielded that kick return when it was going to go out and we had the ball on the one hard line. Rosier then preceded to throw an int shortly after which changed the compelxity of that game and gave bc a short field4 fumbles in 5 quarters = Demotion.
Has nothing to do with Cam Davis.
Deejay imo never had breakaway speed to begin with last year, he just had really good acceleration. When he broke a run vs Wisconsin he didn’t look particularly fast or explosive. Homer vs va tech last year looked explosive as **** and I just haven’t seen a run like that from homer this year. I’m thinking he’s not all the way healthy but stillI’ve noticed both DeeJay and Homer don’t have that breakaway speed we saw last year. Cam played well today but holy **** you guys jump the gun. DJ is awesome but he has been infected with this thing called a lack of accountability which has infected the entire offense. His *** should have been benched after the first fumble not after the fifth. Same thing is happening on the receivering core. How many passes does Wiggins or Cager have to drop before they sit.
Shaq is NOT a Great coverage LBerAhhh that’s kinda a stretch. They were specifically talking about how Deejay felt accountable for our last loss. I place blame more on our offensive line personnel decisions. That being said deejays fumbles and the pass drops are a problem.
Cam looks fast AF and shifty. He’s gonna be better imo.
Homer looked good too.
Harley had a lot of great blocks today.
Thomas was excellent. As many have said - put the ball in his hands. He’s a great.
Quarterman, Finley, Carter, Redwine, Jaquon Johnson stood out to me on defense.
For the previous argument about Quarterman vs Perryman that I saw here. No comparison in my mind. Different linebackers. Quarterman is a great coverage guy and very smart. Perryman is a true MLB. Make me pick and I’ll take Perryman - but different styles for sure.
Anybody else see N’kosi rolling his eyes at Richt on the sideline?
Great is a stretch - I take that back. But he’s more of a coverage guy than a heavy hitter like Perryman. Like I’d said - Perryman is a beast. BUT Perryman bulked up his SR year big time. I’d take Perryman all day every day. Shaq still has a year if he wants.Shaq is NOT a Great coverage LBer
we might have to if we haeve transfers outMight put deejay back at wr..... Wonder if his hands are better than some of the receivers
Because he’s a natural rb and has a better feel for the game than those 2we might have to if we haeve transfers out
crazy thing is our ol is so bad yet cam gets openings
Faster then DJ and has better vision then Homer. Seems to be a threat in the passing game as well.
Can’t be worse than Cager or WigginsMight put deejay back at wr..... Wonder if his hands are better than some of the receivers
