Has anyone heard from Mario since Saturday?

You are full of ****e. "Hasn't been seen or heard" is just a lie. It's a bye week, there were never a bunch of pre-existing media obligations on the agenda for this week. And we shouldn't be ADDING extra press conferences and Zoom calls just because we lost a game.

The words you are typing are some of the dumbest things I've seen you post. That's not a personal insult, it's just an observation.

Be better.

It's a god**** bye week. Go back into the long history of UM bye weeks and tell me about all of the media events that traditionally happen, and which have been "cancelled" due to this "tail-tucking".

Let the man work. I'll judge based on what I see during the North Carolina game, while the mopes continue to cry about the cancellation of never-scheduled press interviews.
Why are you making excuses this early in tenure for him skipping an interview that every cane coach has done since insert year? We’re going to find out a lot about this team/staff/program against unc but in my view Mario cristobal ducked an interview after losing in embarrassing fashion 4 games into his tenure. Could there be a valid excuse for it? Sure but the tea leaves are telling a different story

Not sure what we want to hear him say. The product on the field speaks volumes. Idk - maybe I'm just over listening to coach speak after we get our sht pushed in, by a team we should've beat by 30+

No one is going to give a flying f^ck about skipping interviews if we beat UNC.

That’s just the truth. But AcCoUnTaBiLiTY bRO.

He’s skipping it - now he better back it up by winning and scoring points on the worst defense in the ACC. That’s all there is to it. If we lose and look like ****, then have at him.

You're right, it's all about placating the gaping pvssies who mope 24-7-365, even when they disappear during the better times.
What the **** are you talking about lol. This man just got dominated by MTSU in probably the worst loss in school history, and then disappears after preaching nonstop prior about accountability and “how you do something is how you do everything”.

No one is bailing on this staff. We’re just calling the BS as we see it. So far lots of talk and no walk.

why do anything then? What’s he going to say next week? Wouldn’t you rather him be preparing for UNC?

For some of us, this isn’t about anything more than being consistent in messaging.

Again, you are full of ****e. Nobody is "making excuses". You are just inventing ****e about "ducking an interview", you have no ******* clue.

Feel free to pull out the contract that states Mario must make a weekly appearance on a radio show for every single week of the season, regardless of whether we have a game or not. It doesn't exist.

Maybe Joe Rose called him and asked him to come on during the bye week, but there was no obligation to do so. That's not an "excuse", it's a statement of fact.

Now, if you want to gin it up into "ducking an interview", that's up to you and the rest of the mopes.

Exactly.

Really needs to go on Joe's show to answer softball questions about an embarrassing loss. A bunch of coach speak about needing to get better.

Accountability is getting back to work to fix the problem. Not going on a stupid radio show to talk in circles about a two day old football game.
The mental gymnastics required to not recognize Mario is being a giant hypocrite lmao.

Go rent another billboard truck.

"Disappears". It's a bye week, you dolt.

Until you produce the video of Mario out on the golf course instead of calling in to the Joe Rose show, there is no "BS" or hypocrisy here. He is doing his job, and his job is not defined by calling in to a radio show on the Monday of a bye week.

I'm not a spineless pvssy who judges coaching performances by radio call-ins. I'll make my decisions based on what I see against North Carolina.

Seriously, go fvck yourself.

Look at your screen name and your thumbnail photo. And then try to tell us with a straight face that you are merely concerned with "consistency in messaging".

You're just a liar. That's not a personal insult or a character assessment. It's just a factual reflection that the words you are typing are false.

20 years of hard evidence of coaching mediocrity makes me disagree with your point but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect everyone’s opinion.

Have we discussed the no Mario cristobal show as well?

Mario hasn’t earned the benefit of any doubt here, period. Everything that has been said by him or his staff has gone up in smoke. Adapting schemes to fit players, lol. Accountability when he refuses to bench players making **** mistakes. How you do anything is how you do everything, so I guess his commitments and own accountability don’t matter when **** gets hard.

We’re learning a lot about our coaching staff in real time and I’m not impressed. Mario, for all his rhetoric, should *welcome* the accountability if he is who we hope he is.

That's why you are a pvssified mope. You are whining about "20 years of hard evidence of coaching mediocrity". Which has nothing to do with Mario Cristobal or whether he calls into a radio show during a bye week.

Again, produce the "hard evidence" of contracts requiring him to call Joe Rose during a bye week or produce a Mario Crisotbal Show. I'll wait.

He needs to do his ******* job. And his ******* job is winning games. And if he doesn't have this corrected against North Carolina, then we can worry about whether he calls in to Joe Rose on Monday morning.

To me it doesn't matter if he talks to anyone or not. I don't care anymore. I'll start listening to what he has to say once we stop being a clown show. Time to flip the script. I'm tired of the "Don't be a fan later" bs after being a fan for over 40 years. It's more like, "Be a team that fans can be proud of instead of being an embarrassment". After all these years, I'll pay attention when they start taking this seriously. Until then, I'll be a fan from a distance. I'll never not be a fan, but I sure as **** ain't going to live and die with every play of every game anymore.

TOC, he's getting riled up, it's hysterical.

Rose already said he didn't know why he wasn't there to his audience, which means he was expected to be there.

He ducked it and truth be told, I don't really care. We've got a certain poster in here asking about contractual agreements and I love it. Keep it rolling TOC.

Everyone on this site are either sunshine pumping weirdos who can’t see what’s in front of them or experts who can smell bull**** the second it appears. The bull**** appeared this week.

Is Mario the first coach in 20 years to recover from it? Time will tell. But for you and others to keep pumping this mope narrative is just hilarious given what the fanbase has witnessed/endured over 20 years and 5 failed coaching hires.

The word mope needs to be put to bed on this site

I just don’t understand the accountability argument, and I wasn’t even sold on Mario. “HOw YoU Do ANyThiNG…”you guys are such pu$$ies lol. You think this guy forgot how to run a program when he dotted his i’s and crossed his T’s on the Miami deal? You think he’s scared of the media? Lol - this dude doesn’t give af about the fans or what they have to say, like he should.

So instead of talking to the media, he’s probably not sleeping because contrary to what many brain cell-less individuals think on a message board, he actually cares about this program. He’s probably chewed out this team every single day. Shown them clips of the laughingstock they are, and deservedly so.

So if he comes on to talk, I guarantee you any poster or porster on here could regurgitate 85-90% of what he was going to say. So - you just want him to talk publicly to do what? Apologize? Say things are going to get better? We’re going to work hard, this is a process, we need the right recruits, we ran **** plays, we need more from the offense…etc? Basically covers it. Joe throws softballs anyways, it’s not like you were going to hear the right questions being asked.

So essentially, the fans want Mario to apologize for last Saturday. Sounds kind of pathetic and needy when you put it that way.

Before you burn him at the stake, maybe give him the UNC game to make the Necessary and Mandatory changes. If he doesn’t, then have at him - it’ll prove Gattis is a stubborn c^ck and Mario will undoubtedly have to fire him at the end of the season (if he doesn’t leave on his own). Then we can judge Mario on his next hire.

My god some of you are insufferable. You guys do this when politicians or movie stars are bombarded by the press and just run to their cars to avoid interviews? Or should they be HeLD AcCoUnTaBLe and be forced to talk so TheUisBack2022 doesn’t have a tantrum on a message board about it?

I don't give a **** what Joe Rose has to say. I don't care if he "expected" him or "didn't know why he wasn't there".

I know you'll find a dozen more ways to slime out of acknowledging that Mario wasn't required to call in to Joe Rose during a bye week.

Waaaaah, waaaaah, we should feel bad for Joe Rose and the mopes. Waaaaaah, waaaaah.

This is where I’m at. I don’t care what he has to say. There’s no justification in the world for what MTSU did to us… at home on top of it. Mario hired a guy to run the type of offense Mario wanted to run. So now what???

I want to see him make the changes necessary to resolve it. Scheme, coaches, players… whatever. And if he doesn’t then he’s a 100% CoRch and we’re doomed for about 7 years.

I’d like to think that he wants to succeed here and do what’s needed but then again we saw Richt and Golden stand by their awful schemes on O and D respectively so there’s that possibility too. UNC will say a lot to this end.
