Hartline to USF?

USF would take many years of success and fan growth to even be in the same conversation as Miami when it comes to attractiveness to a major conference
Florida is a retirement hub for many of the big ten boomers who retired to Florida. They meet the academic requirements and could be a cheap way to get into the the Florida market for the B1G and they’d host 5-6 B1G teams a year. It’s not unfeasible

Give the man his flowers for the job he's done but managing the whole enchilada is a whole different ball game at fourth tier Florida school
im not a hartline fan whatsoever....hes lucky to have got the usf job which is a good stepping stone job due to be ing in the best football state for recruiting and a pretty cool city to live in.

Lol at anyone thinking this matters at all.

If anything, this keeps WRs from SFL from going to OSU.

No top tier WR is going to USF when Miami is Miami. Hartline will finally have to develop kids who aren’t ready to go from the day they step in the door….and also be a HC for the first time.
Exactly. It's not a bad thing for Miami, but is a good thing for USF simply in raising their recruiting profile. They should recruit better, but still won't be competing with us for top recruits

Whether or not Hartline "develops" or just inherits dominant 5 star WR's he has a great reputation with said recruits and 5* receivers.

Why anyone would want him to fail at USF is mindblowing to me. If he fails he goes right back to OSU. I want him to win whatever G5 conf USF is in and stay there for 20 years

Is he going to line up 10 5* WR?

Football is about the big boys. Florida has a good number of them, and he has been in Ohio for life. If they give him some NIL, he could do ok at USF. He still has to beat Tulane, North Texas, Memphis, and Navy most years. We get to beat him in 2028 and ND in 2029.

If he succeeds, ( big IF) he might end in Tallahassee in the next couple of years.

Golesh has left him a good enough team at USF to win his conference. We will see how he does.

Ohio State will do just fine, but Hartline, because of his reputation with Smith, will disrupt Mario's recruiting in Florida and the South.

Jeremiah Smith to USF would be Karmic Justice on a Cosmic Scale.....
Hartline is well liked but Deion he is not. Just don't see him pulling 5 stars to USF. ****, I'm more worried about Taint without Hartline than Hartline at USF.
