Hartley Tweet

I'm pretty happy about adding a quality kicker, but if that's what this was about...WTF Hartley?

LOL at bringing a kicker in when we have 2 of the best in the ACC. We need CBs. Badly. Don't try to hype me on a cotdam kicker, Hartley.

Not really. We just booted a kid who was kicking 70 yards in his high school videos.

He does appear to have a good leg, though. Ask FSU how many titles they'd have if they had a quality kicker all those years.

I would watch, but I've hit my kicker film quota for the year on the Hawaii recruit. I think I watched a minute
the kid drills a 58 harder with room to spare...all you need to know

That kicker we kicked off the team ended up kicking out of bounds half the time lol. Kickers are weapons and important

Oh I agree, that's why I'm saying you can't fully judge a kid from his kicks in practice. Who knows how he kicks on game day at the next level? Here's hoping he's the next great one here.

While I agree that it's physically impossible for any red blooded American male to get excited about a kicker, the kid is coming in highly rated and isn't even taking up a scholarship. So while it's against all of our natures to get amped when it's not a CB, it's also kinda good to possibly have some consistency at a spot that can easily cost you games.

Anyone remember how lethal Carlos Huerta was from anywhere on the field? For those who don't get excited about kickers, do you know how many games he iced for our Canes? Someone of that talent and consistency can't be overstated.

Actually, no.

Big difference kicking in a t-shirt and shorts vs in a real game where timing, the rush, and elevation past the line all come into play.
