Hardest Hitting Cane...What Say You??

Nate looked Crazy/Scary AF to begin with....LoL....There's been a few that Scared the F outta ya just walking by them....LoL
 
One of my favorite players was Daniel Stubbs. In the OB we were playing a team which we handled easily. They were trying anything to move the ball, my favorite play was when the QB had the entire offense run right and did a blind roll out to the left....he saw Daniel Stubbs was the only player that read the play and as Stubbs zeroed in on him...it wasn't the big hit I expected...the QB just laid down as Stubbs looked like Superman flying through the air. Smart QB though...Stubbs would've pounded him.

Pretty much everyone named fits the bill. I'd like to add Mo Sikes. A bit underrated in Canes lore IMO. I think it was the Pitt game, at the OB, he hit a guy so hard that I heard it from the east end zone bleachers (also the only game I watched from those seats).
 
Sean Taylor is my favorite player for hits. Speaking of vicious hits, this is one of my favorites, check out the punt return at 20 seconds. Rare you see two vicious hits on the same punt (rest of the game sucked, however):

but for consistently being a violent hitter you have to go with a couple of familiar names S. Taylor and Ray Lewis.

No it was Al Blades....and I WITNESSED the entire confrontation....just a few mins after this pic was taken at Patty O'Briens.....Big Vince was throwing Gators around like Rag Dolls.....

Stubbs benefited GREATLY by Jerome being constantly Double & Tripled teamed....Stubbs can Thank Jerome for having the All time Sacks record....
 
Some big time hitters in this thread. We can debate the pound-for-pound rankings till we're blue in the face. Weight & speed play a big factor in a hit's intensity, & very few have had a combination as explosive as Taylor's.
