Watching UTSA a 4 year old program compete hard against Arizona on national TV I see drive and desire I don't see on our sideline as the kids believe in their coaches and are having fun. Incredible to think as bad as Larry left our program that he could build a startup program that fast.

Contrary to popular belief, Larry Coker is not a bad football coach. On gameday, his teams were always prepared to play. Coker's problems were he couldn't recruit and expectations were so **** high, based on what Butch built, that he couldn't keep up with the pace. He was better than these last two bums (Radio and Fat Albert).

Not gonna call Larry a bad coach per se but the Peach Bowl vs LSU was about as ****** a preparation as I have ever seen.

not as bad as monday.

That is the perfect job for him. Team has 30 seniors on it. They play decent defense. Forced Houston to turnover the ball six times last week and handed UH their a$$ at home. With that being said, good for Larry. Being at Miami got him that job and hopefully it will keep him away as far away from Coral Gables as possible.

Miles' team was also worlds better than the Louisville team we faced Monday and at the Rustle Bowl.

Larry's last couple of teams here were pretty fuxking awful. They came out flat against crap teams plenty of times, his hires were awful, and he mostly was toast as soon as the talent Butch stocked ran out. To say he got a bad rap is bull****.

That LSU game was 10x worse than what we watched on Monday, and our team was better. Once they figured out the "give it to Devin" offense we were ****ed. Remember, our team was one game away from possibly playing for the national championship that year and was loaded on D...and LSU dismantled us. At least we were in the Louisville game for the most part, even though we ******* sucked.

It is very impressive what he has done at UTSA, but that is the type of job perfect for him.

I would love to see UTSA vs Miami this year. UTSA looks great for a program in year 4

Ugh, no.

Not hard to believe... He's a better coach than Golden... His seat was heating up when he won 9 games. Our fans praised Golden for beating SSU, USF and FAU while playing close matches or losing to every team in the ACC...

UTSA has 30 seniors that got recruited to a team that never existed. They started as FCS athletes with no red shirting for them. They have done quite well. UTSA is a straight up commuter school

Or maybe the players were actually out of control partying etc... U know the whole thing that got the school jammed up. Ijs. Timing of allegations and decline sound about a match. Maybe the kids didn't wana play unless for anything less than a crystal ball... Ala Bama in Every bowl game outside of NCs

UTSA has 18 redshirt seniors. In 2010 everyone redshirted because they had no games, only practice.
