Hard Rock

100%. The parking situation is a complete disaster. We got turned away from the orange lot despite having pre-paid season tickets and arriving almost 2 hours early.
This also happened to me and I got to the stadium at 5pm. Not super early but it's not like I showed up 30 minutes before kickoff. I ended up having to park in yellow lot and walk over to a buddy's tailgate in orange lot. Talked to a few people that parked in orange lot....half of them had yellow lot tickets but security didn't check....friggin ridiculous.
The worst part of big games at Hard Rock, the parking is a total cluster, even if you have prepaid parking. The cops seen clueless, and the parking attendants looked bewildered. I had friends, that left the stadium with tickets in hand, and prepaid parking.
Only other thing I'd say is this is not unique to Hard Rock. I had a friend at the game that grew up going to SEC games and he said this was nothing compared to SEC games.

Most of those small towns see 150k+ people all coming into a town with total population of like 60k at the same time, essentially doubling the towns size for a 24 hour period. Sometimes you're waiting 2 hours just to get out of town.

You’re never getting the real estate for a stadium. That died with Marlins park. The soccer stadium could have been an option but that location is going to be a **** disaster anyway. Hard Rock when full is an excellent home field advantage. We just can’t get fans there for half the games
its easier to get to hard rock than to marlins park and it isnt even remotely close. its even worse getting to the AAA or kaseya center or w.e. its called now

they scan my orange parking pass every game and did so this past weekend as well.

I wish I could’ve gotten to the OB but sadly never made it there…Saturday was my first time at Hard Rock and the first time at a Hurricanes home game in my life (I saw them play at NCSt bc my cousin was a former player so he got me some tix) the atmosphere and game was electric! I can’t wait to do it again! I enjoyed everything, especially the rain. I wanted a Florida/Miami feel and I got it. It was muggy and wet but not had a time brothers!! I don’t have a voice and I’m more than happy about it.

I wish I could’ve been here last season to see Cam but I’m glad I made it to this game. It was a bday present (from Jan) from my people. Being a MD/DMV guy, it made my year and I’m just hoping for bigger and better things with this squad. Only 2 things I wished I could change, one, Carson tossing a TD pass or three in the endzone I was in (I was four rows away from field) and two, I saw some lady and her daughter with what looked like arroz con pollo but it was middle third q and I didn’t want to miss a second of action but after all the drinks, that ish looked delicious!! I’m getting THAT next time lmbo Go Canes!!

100%. The parking situation is a complete disaster. We got turned away from the orange lot despite having pre-paid season passes and arriving almost 2 hours early. Ended up parking in the furthest yellow lots and barely making it for kickoff.
I always go straight into the yellow lots -getting in and out is a breeze . The 1/4 mile walk is no big deal.

Anybody else run into the Yellow lot attendants who have reserved a porta potty for themselves? I am still mad at myself for not causing a scene and just walking to a different bathroom lol.

Consistent winning will cure a lot, but wish the admin actually quality assured their own product. This isn’t specific to UM. I have student section season tix at another major school (where I attend) and they treat us like prisoners, it’s insane. I get large scale human logistics are difficult but it sucks when these places don’t have good systems in place then get mad at the customers like it’s our fault you haven’t figured out how to run your business effectively to meet our needs.

Yeah, when I lived in Gainesville it was a nightmare just to get home. So it’s funny when people talk about HRS being 45 minutes away from campus because on game weekends it could easily take me that long to get to the stadium at UF, and I only lived a few miles away, and I had to super early and fight for parking, and then walk a mile to meet up with my friends. UM students just get on a bus and are dropped off right at HRS - which is SO MUCH EASIER! (Yes, I get that there are UF students that live on campus and were not struggling like me, but tens of thousands are, as there are 55,000 students.) And yes, we all miss the OB, but it is also easier than the OB, which was a hike to the Metrorail, the train, then a bus, and then another hike. Unless you missed the bus, then the last hike was very long through Overtown. So I am very jealous that the kids just have buses now.

Another HUGE bonus we have too is that college town hotels all require you to book both Friday and Saturday, and obviously there are very few hotels. And since the towns are in the middle of nowhere, it’s really hard to go just for the day. If you don’t want to pay to stay for both nights, you have to drive a good hour outside of the town. With the prices of tickets and everything now, it’s hard to have to pay two nights of hotels as well.

I did the $10 parking from the hard rock casino to the stadium. Very easy , very convenient. Will be the move for me every game going forward

9 game ACC schedule will not help attendance either

The difference is that you have options for a Heat game. You can park somewhere far away and hop on the Brightline, Metrorail, or Metromover and never sit in traffic. You can also Uber and it isn't too painful if you walk a few blocks away from the arena. Driving is the only option at Hard Rock.
