Lets put something to rest. Compared to many college stadiums its comfortable to watch games at the Rock. Anyone who has been to the swamp and it sardine packed seats that many are just aluminum planks with tape marks every 10 inches plus parking in yards worse then the original Orange Bowl was. Not only that, 4 games in our fans have been as unruly and agressive as the old Orange Bowl making the Rock a tough stadium environment for our opposition. I doubt there is a college stadium anywhere that has the amenities and concessions as does the Rock. It's capacity is conducive to the amount of fans we have and room to grow. The field is ideal with natural grass. It took awhile but Hurricanes have slowly adopted the Rock as a comfortable and pleasurable place to house our Hurricanes, OH! and its more coveniently located for great access. Face it, it is a professional establishment far superior to any college stadium. Long Live the Hard Rock!

Convenient for who?

I'd bet 75 percent of fans live North of where Hard Rock is located. I canot imagine a day trip from Orlando to Coral Gables for a game also the University of Miami provides UBus shuttle service for students to Hard Rock Stadium on game days just requires a valid student ID or ticket to board. Alternatively, Brightline offers a free shuttle from the Aventura station to Hard Rock Stadium for game days if you book your train ticket. Can't get any better

And you would be correct.

The parking has been brutal this year got there at 2:50 - 100 yards from gate 1A took us 30 minutes to turn in - always go to the right and park in the north orange lot. First 2 games no problem leaving and going north on turnpike. Last 2 games can’t go out the gate we came in so have to go out gate 1 and can only go south - what a cluster - then this past game turnpike closed north in front of stadium so couldn’t even do a golden glades flip around - back in Stuart at 2:00am

The worst part of big games at Hard Rock, the parking is a total cluster, even if you have prepaid parking. The cops seen clueless, and the parking attendants looked bewildered. I had friends, that left the stadium with tickets in hand, and prepaid parking.
100%. The parking situation is a complete disaster. We got turned away from the orange lot despite having pre-paid season passes and arriving almost 2 hours early. Ended up parking in the furthest yellow lots and barely making it for kickoff.

I've learned to love Hard Rock, especially with the renovations. Now, if they can only start selling Miami Hurricanes souvenir cups for their sodas
This is where I've arrived as well. Still don't appreciate the seats right behind our bench being empty all game, or the endless close-ups of fans in the stands between every single play, but since the renovations it's a pretty cool venue and it can get pretty loud. The seats are far away from the field but at least you can stay dry while watching the game.
