I think lightning will still be an issue in September. The field isn't covered so the players are at risk.

In all seriousness, I think they covered the entire stadium in rubber during the remodel so there is no chance lightning will cause a problem.

The stadium is safe because the roof truss system is electrically grounded through the seats. You'll instantly know if the stadium has been hit by lightning, and it saves on fireworks.
