They've got some highly-rated guys on the roster.

According to my boy who's a big Michigan fan, they're just not ready. Christian McCaffrey's little brother was a 5-star, but he's a true freshman. They have a 4-star RS freshman, but he struggled toward the end of camp.

Harbaugh is pretty conservative with his QBs. He's not the type to throw a freshman out there.
 
Harbaugh was blessed with low expectations at Stanford; once they got good, he jumped to that side of the bay area's pro team and caught lightning in a bottle with a Chris Ault-trained pistol QB (Colin K) and unleashed that offense and Kap on an unsuspecting NFL.

Now, he is at a place with HIGH expectations and he is doing the same thing Schembechler did to him in 1983..Keep the young gun on the bench and not dominate (that year, Michigan went 9-3 with no Big 10 Title and a Suger Bowl loss).

If he beats O$Uck, all is forgiven. If he loses, his seat gets a lot warmer.
 
he's very unlikeable
he's won everywhere he's been
he's responsible for not having a QB in year 3
he lost more than most to NFL and graduation so it's premature to hammer him off of that
just beat taint
