Correct. Don’t remember if it was Hocutt or Eichorst but they had basically nothing to do with it beyond the contract terms. There were a couple people outside the AD who worked both directions to recruit L and “encourage” the AD to make the hire.

The story of how he was identified and recruited here (by parties outside the AD) definitely sums up the ineptitude of the Miami AD over the past few decades. But at least they didn’t ***** up the paperwork lol.
