I went to the Keys in 1998 with my Wife (at that time) and met JJ in Marathon...Chuck was a GA in 86 under JJ and Wannstadt...and we talked for a good 20mins...he fondly remembered Chuck and Tommy Tubberville, who also was a GA at that time. JJ heaped alot of praise on Butch, and said UM was in good hands...

if the evil midget had not shown up with her Barry Alvarez fantasy, there is no telling how many NCs Butch and Miami could have won. I can
count on one hand the coaches that could even have come close to the miracle job Butch did in the 90s at Miami under the
sanctions that were meant to kill Miami football. JJ had great love and respect for Butch. Awesome that you had that talk with JJ !
